Great suction and really portable for doing the stairs etc. We bought this hoover as we found out battery operated stick hoover just wasn't cut out for keeping the floors clean when we got our puppy. Especially since it would always die mid-use so we couldn't hoover the entire house in one go. The turbo brush picks up an obscene amount of hair from our excessively fluffy double-coated dog and my post-natal hair shedding phase. It loses a start due to the reader of removing the hair from the turbo brush. While relatively straightforward thanks to a groove you can fit your scissors in to cut the hair, it also has a solid piece in the middle covering approx 1.5cm of the bar so you can't cut the entire length, leaving you with a slightly tedious task of fishing the hair out from underneath it.

Great vacuum cleaner, lots of bells & whistles included, though I haven't yet tried vacuuming up a cat or dog yet. Would recommend...

Excellent vacuum. I used to own a Miele years ago and loved it. I've tried many different vacuums over the years but this one is brilliant for pet hair and using it on a mix of carpet and hard floor. The bags hold a lot so don't need to be changed too frequently and also the dust is sealed in, so there's literally no mess at all when you come to empty, unlike with some of the bagless machines. Suction is good and powerful and can be varied depending on what you're cleaning. I also like that the wheels are fully movable so you don't have to wrestle with it to get where you want to be. The cylinder has a space so you can clip the hose to it for storage, so easy to pop away in a cupboard. Great for all round cleaning but especially for dog owners like myself.

Excellent vacuum cleaner. Made us more aware of how much better the rugs looked after the first clean. Quite quiet and very easy to manoeuvre. I know cylinder vacuums are not as popular as they used to be, but your arms will know the difference after vacuuming. Miele really outshines most companies in all products.

Fantastic vacuum cleaner - we have 2 dogs and a cat and there can be a lot of fur - picks up brilliantly - so much better than my old machine
