Disappointing on a huge scale
1/5
Three years after buying it and l like it less every day. It's actually started breaking down now, the oven isn't working but it's out of guarantee.
Even before this, it has so many annoying things about it - l've had several Bellings over the years but I wouldn't buy another now. It feels cheap and tinny, there's not even a hob-hot light so it's quite dangerous, the knobs get knocked on really easily when cleaning so I'm constantly checking it's not on. It has to be pulled away from the wall to be able to open the door so there's a gap at the back. The oven doesn't cook evenly or consistently. The feet have to be raised up to make it level but then theres a huge exposed gap underneath. The hob isn't terribly responsive but stays hot for ages afterwards (beware it just looks black and remember, there's no hob hot light to warn you it's really hot still- unbelievable this simple safety feature is missing in such an expensive cooker.)
It doesn't even have the Belling logo on the front so I do wonder sometimes if I have some sort of 'second'! The only good point is the grill, that works really well and for that I give it it's one star.
