Tried all settings,but burnt one side, untoasted the other side, comes up favourite most of the time. Not impressed, should have kept the old Murphy Richards.

Just what we wanted to replace our broken toaster. Wanted Bagel option as family member into Bagels and old toaster couldn't do that. Looks good and so far does what it says and was a reasonable price for this type of toaster.

It seems strange to be getting excited about a toaster and kettle, but these matching vintage appliances have made such a difference to our kitchen that my wife has had to rearrange the whole kitchen just so that these can take pride of place and can be showed off. In this case it really is worth paying that little bit extra as the quality and looks make such a difference compared to our previous kettles and toasters. Do they boil water faster or toast bread better? Probably not, but they look just so much better!
