I think the instructions for both the installation and operation could have been a little clearer.

    Excellent replacement

I needed to replace an existing semi-integrated dishwasher and discovered that there are not many standard models available. Indesit offer a good replacement and AO had it on offer. The whole process from order to installation was very straightforward. The delivery and fitting were very good. Very pleased with the machine and AO's service.

    Look away now

Sadly it seems this is the only semi integrated dishwasher in white. Oh how I wish we'd just gone metallic or black and thus had other models as options. The 28 minute cycle is ok but only because whoever designed the rack configurations obviously used non-adult cutlery, crockery and pots and pans, so if you've got 13 grown ups place settings to wash then you'll be running 2 - 3 loads to get it all clean. In a nutshell all the little prongs in the racks are too close together meaning any decent sized plats and bowls don't fit in any sensible numbers. The top rack too tries to angle things (I guess to try to maximise the cleaning of the water spray) but that just means mugs and the like "wobble around". And there's no decent place to put big knives, eg carving and bread knives. The fold up shelves where you'd normally put knives don't have enough space under them to to lay flat if you put say a mug or cup underneath it... and even if theres nothing under the fold down shelf it won't lay flat anyway because once again its be designed to be at an angle to the water spray. I had my last dishwasher for 16 years (Jul 2006 - Dec 2022), different manufacturer. I've only had this new one a month and I'm already thinking it'll never last that long because I won't be able to stand the frustratingly poor loading capacity for that long!

    So far so good

    5/5
Washing well so far. A few more buttons to press than my last dishwasher to get the correct cycle. Indesit would not be my first brand choice but very difficult to get a plain white semi integrated machine.

    Works well

Easily installed. Works well Not noisy. The white front panel is very white (blue/white rather than cream/white). Only criticism is that the cutlery tray falls about and does not stand up well but that could just be my ignorance as to how to load it.

Overall good, watch out for short power lead

    4/5
Good price when there is limited options for a replacement semi-integrated dishwasher. However the power cable is only long enough if the plug socket is immediately next to the appliance. Ours needed to go behind the washing machine to the plug and was too short. Getting to grips with the programmes. The Eco and Press and Go settings are very similar in power and water usage but press and go is a lot shorter so we’re sticking with that as our daily programme.
