Decent product, nice and quiet on the lowest 2 fan settings, hence the 3 stars. Installation instructions are very poor though, very light on detail. Even worse, the screw positions on the template you stick to the wall are wrong! Once you've hung the appliance on the top 2 screws, the bottom ones don't line up. With the holes in the hood, they are about 30mm too high, as the hood drops by that much when hanging. Unbelievable they never tested this!

Powerful hood, and great to control via hob to hood etc - but noisier than expected, given that on paper it should have been quieter than the old one... but it's not, except on breeze mode (which isn't adequate for general extraction).

Powerful suction for domestic use, easy to install and use. A little quieter than the average extractor fan. Sleek design.

Powerful clear, lights that work automatically with the hob. Relatively quiet when running. Looks unobtrusive and neat. Very pleased.

Love this Extractor. It looks great, is powerful, has easy to clean filters and does not project too much. I used to hit my head on the older model but as this is much shallower this never happens now. The only negative is that we also have an AEG hob but the Extractor and Hob do not talk to each other. The manuals are useless and AEG will only address the problem by sending out an Engineer at our expense so nor doing that. AEG, sort out your Manuals so it is clear what we need to do to sync the Hob and Extractor, I think the issue is that the Hob we have whilst compatible was one of the first versions and the manual does not give any details.

Wow! What an amazing chimney cooker hood - had someone told me what I could expect from this product I would have thought they were off their rocker but no, it really does do what it says it does, efficiently extracts from any hob all whilst presenting itself in a sleek and stylish design.
