    All the usual features

    4/5
Replacement oven, looks nice, heats up quickly. I feel it should have more than two shelves at the price but as I had read other reviews I kept the shelves from my old oven which fit perfectly. Seems to have all the features my old oven had. Bit miffed to see it cheaper on ao the following week.

    Good and solid product

Generally very pleased with this. Looks stylish and works well. The timer alarm is a bit hard to hear but otherwise great.

Good replacement of our old AEG oven

    4/5
We picked this oven as it was the same make as our old oven, it is great to have a reliable oven, but it is smaller width wise instead and the grill is quite slow in comparison to our old grill.

    A good product to consider

    4/5
This replaced an older model of Aeg oven. This is very similar and of good quality but does not have a fan in the top oven. The only downside I have found is as I am only 5ft tall I am unable to easily see the icons on the knows without a stool, our previous oven showed the information on the facia.

    Shiny new integrated double oven

    4/5
I was looking for a nice looking integrated, double oven, with large enough capacity and full catalytic liners which didn't break the bank and this oven fitted the bill. Visitors have commented that they like the look of the oven. The bottom oven is large enough for a full roast plus the top oven can be put to use too when entertaining extra guests, there are ovens with bigger capacity however. The self cleaning liners are brilliant. I insert an appropriate liner on the base of both ovens so only accessories and the doors have to be cleaned. Saves a lot of hard work and easy to keep on top of. Both ovens have a grill and the bottom oven has multi settings including defrost and choice of fan (my favourite) or conventional cooking. The only negative is, I feel 2 shelves should be provided with the bottom oven. Knowing there was only going to be one, we kept one from our old oven. So far, very happy. Only had it a few weeks so hope it turns out to be reliable too

Similar AEG Oven with Less Tiresome Cleaning

    4/5
Only had this oven 2-3 weeks, so still getting used to it. One difference is that there is an vent along the top of the lower oven door which blows right in ones eyes until the lower oven door is properly open. Not a problem when you get used to it. It's a replacement for a previous AEG oven of almost identical design, though we've not yet used the (new to us) catalytic cleaning facility. I've had no problems so far though the rack supports are a little differently placed and require forethought when baking in the top oven. We immediately purchased an additional rack for the oven, as only two are supplied. There is a third rack provided in the form of a roasting tray and accompanying wire grid which will only fit in the tray. AEG suggest in the manual that this can be used as an oven shelf to bake and roast, or "as a pan to collect fat". A little inconvenient if one wants two traditional racks in the lower oven and another in the upper, which I do quite frequently. This particular AEG model has been criticised for having the temperatures and icons printed on the dials, rather than on the backplate, which makes it difficult to select them as they are then above eye level for most people, and certainly me at 5 foot tall. Enquiries suggested that the model of the same number advertising a "brushed steel finger print resistant" backplate would be the one with markings on the backplate, but this isn't invariably mentioned on web page illustrations or in the specifications. I had to order blind, but thankfully I received the one I required with numbers on the backplate. Hopefully that is the newer fashion and the other style (much complained about) is now being phased out.

    Nice looking oven

    4/5
So far so good - only had it a short time so only given it a 4 Star rating, but if it carries on performing as it is easily upgrade to 5 Stars. Certainly an improvement on our old oven. Cooks evenly and efficiently. Only slight downside is there is no programmable timer so you can have dinner cooking for you will out. But overall good product.
