    Great Buy

    5/5
Great looking oven and cooks well. Haven’t used all the functions as yet. Was originally looking at the cheaper model but noticed the reviews regarding the hard to read Dials. The dials on this model can also be a bit difficult to read but the fancy knight rider display does help ??.

    Fantastic new AEG oven.

    5/5
The oven is marvellous, does what it says, is easier to operate than I first thought. Love the control buttons that push in. The fan oven on Pizza setting is brilliant, the conventional oven at the top is so accurate heat wise and cooks far better than my Neff everused to do - and it looks fabulous , best buy I've made for years.

A top quality product - once you've mastered the controls!

    4/5
I like AEG appliances and have had their ovens before. This one is large and works very well. Older versions used to have the function decals on the front of the oven, which made it very easy to choose which function you wanted. Now the decals are on the barrel of the knob it can be tricky to see which function is selected and I'm 5ft 10"! The instruction manual is not particularly user friendly and the 'help desk' operator I spoke to had no working knowledge of the oven other than what was written in the manual! However it's worth persevering as the oven is great. The 'alarm' to indicate the end of cooking is called a 'signal', probably because it is that quiet to call it an alarm would be breaching the trade descriptions act!

Good product let down by control knobs

    4/5
Overall quite pleased however the symbols on the control knobs need a rethink. They are marked around the knobs and quite faint. Subsequently they are difficult to access and see. I can’t believe that the designer actually tried to use the controls!

Nice oven, a little hard to see dials

    4/5
A nice oven, quiet and seems to cook well. However, as per other reviews, the oven functions are on the sides of the dials themselves, so see really hard to see. It’ll be fine once used to where the functions are, but a bit annoying.

NOT THE 5 STARS I WAS EXPECTING

    3/5
Given the reviews and spec I must say I expecting better. Should have listened to the reviewer who mentions the controls, their height and how difficult they are to see (especially if you're not tall). The grill pan comes without a handle and is incredibly heavy, so be prepared to have to buy one separately. Generally unnecessarily complicated to operate and just make sure you're happy with the internal dimensions as I now realise there is a lot less space than my previous Hotpoint. It's stylish, there's no getting away from that, it looks great, but then in practical terms in my opinion it's lacking. The ovens work well, they're quick to get to temperature and cook evenly.
