    Bought this to replace broken one, very impressed! Easy to use, cooks food very evenly and heats up much quicker than my last one. Easy to clean.

    Problem with the oven

    The purchase and installation were great but there’s a problem with the metal fascia of the oven overheating. Hopefully this gets resolved but at the moment, I can’t give this product a good review.

    This is a replacement for the same model which was still working well after 25 yrs. I hope thus one lasts as long. Only feature I don't like is the detachable grill handle. Am using my old one !

    When oven is on for half hour the led where the time is starts to flash 0.00 and the top oven is really hot although not on. Phoned hotpoint and they said when the oven is on the grill element heats up too. Surely this is wrong. First time I’ve had a hotpoint and wouldn’t recommend it just had it installed and not happy at all.

    Only had the old oven for 4 years when it decided to break. Glad it did. This new one is so quiet, cooks more evenly, easier to clean, easy to use. I love it.

    Some irritating aspects

    Cheap oven ok, so I'm not expecting the World...however: - the grill/top oven door doesn't open to horizontal, so you can't rest the grill pan on it (it just slides down onto the floor of the grill) - incredibly irritating when trying to turn items on the grill. - the grill shelf has a small lip at the front which catches on the pan as you pull it out, bringing the shelf out with it if you're not careful. - the grill handle is not in anyway ergonomic in design & so awkward to lift the grill pan out (especially if it's loaded with anything reasonably heavy - steaks, etc) - when the timer is on you can't see the clock time, only the timer - cleaning the main oven door is a pain as the 2 screws that hold the frame in place (that you have to remove to remove the glass) do not comfortably fit. - if you spill anything from the grill it slides down between the 2 panes of glass of the main oven, meaning you have to dismantle the oven door to clean it. Pro's: - it gets hot quickly & the fan oven seems to cook food through evenly
