Great looking, but not a great worker.

I was dissapointed when the oven temperature light did not work, after 18 days.if id acted a bit sooner i would have rejected this oven.and had a different one.

    Practicality

    2/5
I love the look of it, but hadn't realised the temperatures were around the dial, I have to get on a step to see them, not practical at all.

    Not as noisy as some

    2/5
Only had the oven a week. All the functions work wel and food cooks nicely while not drying out. The big issue with most ovens is the droning noise generated by the fans, some are so bad they should be banned. This one is no exception but is bearable. This is an important issue for a domestic appliances and noise rating (dB) should be published on all appliances by law.

    Disappointed

    3/5
It’s my own fault. I should have looked into this product more thoroughly. I chose this appliance on looks and the fact that we recently bought an AEG job and are delighted with it! The double oven does look nice however there are a few annoying issues. Firstly, the retractable knobs are a great idea but it is very difficult to select the cooking preference particularly in the top oven as there are so many options. I am 5’10” tall so height isn’t the issue. Secondly, the clock setting bar is very flimsy and loose, the alarm is quiet and the timer counts back in minutes rather than seconds. Thirdly, there are only two shelves in the bottom oven and none in the top. The cavity of the oven is slightly narrower than my last oven and my roasting pan only just fits. I guess my advice would be to thoroughly check out the spec and believe in the few negative reviews. I should have done.

    Good performance, Controls too high.

    3/5
Distributes heat well, good size cavities, low noise compared to other ovens we’ve had. Controls are too high to see the numbers/settings unless you are 6ft tall. An auto-on function (so it would start cooking when you are out) would be good to improve the overall score.

    Not great

    3/5
Recently purchased this oven as our old one died, this was one of the biggest we could get and honestly I am not impressed. The main oven is really small and not quite sure how I will cook a meal for five of us in it. The control dials are so high that you can't see which setting you need to select and I am 5ft 7 so am not short. Plus something that sounds silly but the cooking alarm is really quiet so if I leave the kitchen I can't hear it going off, not good and not practical

Stylish oven but just one design fault.

    4/5
Overall, a really good product. The only downside for me are the temperature controls for the main oven as they are shown on the rear part of the oven control knob and I have to stand on tiptoe to see that the temperature is turned to the correct setting. I think this must have been designed by a man of greater height!

    Modern looking, easy to use

    4/5
Nice looking and easy to use, works perfectly well. The only slight disappointment is the controls are plastic, but other than that it’s great
