It's Big, it's white and it drys my clothes. I suspect that it will stay in the same setting for its entire life. I like that it knows when the clothes are dry, I've used dryers that still leave clothes a bit damp. I hooked it up to a energy monitor and it uses alot less then the condenser dryer it was replacing Time will tell on reliability and how it treats my clothes but no reason to suspect either will be a problem
