    Very disappointing compared with Bosch

    1/5
Very disappointed with this Smeg dishwasher. The door needs a strong pull to get it open and, once it flies open, it seems heavy like it's going to crash on the floor. The touch buttons are fiddly and take an age to operate. When you want to reuse the last cycle (which we always do) you have to cancel it first and then press about half a dozen times to operate. The dimensions inside the dishwasher are not quite right and often the rotating sprayer hits on regular size plates. This was an expensive machine as we decided to upgrade from a Bosch - never again.

    Really not very good

    1/5
We purchased this dishwasher in January (after owning a Bosch for 10 years), it was a second choice as the Bosch was out of stock, this was similarly priced with a similar spec so we though it should be good; we should have waited. We cook a lot and very often the dishwasher is on twice a day; very quickly we discovered that it just doesn't clean very well, including lightly soiled items, it seems to even create dirt that gets stuck in all the runners for the trays; the washer arms are very short so anything in the corners just seems to collect grime rather than be cleaned . The spacing in the dishwasher isn't quite right, the split cutlery tray means you cannot easily fit proper adult sized knives in, and proper sized adult plates just don't sit properly, this means the capacity isn't actually that great. In August we gave up and ordered the Bosch we originally wanted and all is now right in the world!

Still figuring out how to use it. Seems to get everything clean by about 90% so sometimes requires further cleaning.

Great quality, lovely features, complex instructions

    4/5
You definitely get what you pay for with dishwashers! Excellent quality slide on the baskets, lovely features like the cutlery drawer collapsing to one side to allow for taller glasses. The 60 minute cycle is the best thing ever! Lost a star as the instructions were difficult to understand and diy installation took considerably longer than our last machine.

    Really good experience overall

    4/5
Does the job and so far really happy with the quality of the clean (which is the most important thing after all), but giving 4 instead of 5 starts as I feel the drawers could have been a bit more smoother and flexible in terms of stacking options for the price paid. But overall very happy with the performance.

    Good replacement

    4/5
Much better than the old dishwasher we had, but the cutlery isn't always dry.

    Good eco dishwasher

    4/5
Good quality machine with some nice features for propping up glasses etc. We use the eco setting and often things need a little extra drying although this is acceptable. The internal dimensions of the machine don't seem as big as our old one although we hadn't shopped using this as a criteria.

Quiet and efficient with minor annoyances

    4/5
It seems alright. It cleans effectively and appears robust. The user interface is a little awkward. You can't press and hold the button for the delayed start for instance. Instead having to push it many times for long delays. I'm also not convinced that a separate cutlery draw is that great an idea compared to cutlery basket, which would allow additional height in the top drawer. It is super quiet and efficient though, which far outweigh these minor complaints.
