    Regretful purchase

    1/5
Dishwasher doesn't feel well made. Impossible to make use of the space inside with the cutlery tray as medium sized glasses don't fit with the top basket moved high so you can actually put dinner plates below. We now find ourselves in a position where we have to wash our glasses separately or put on 2 half full full dishwasher loads. Layout is awful. We were obviously spoilt with the space in our old one which although had 1 less position for plates was more user friendly. Before anyone starts questioning 'Yes but the cutlery draw will always take up space at the top' we've had a cutlery tray in a dishwasher before and this didn't cause any issues. I suggest SMEG actually looks at user functionality as its poor. 1 star simply because it works.

    SMEG unimpressed

    1/5
Had to return the product, some items were missing and the unit developed a fault, I am also unimpressed by the build quality. We returned and ordered the Bosch dishwasher, AO were very helpful and we are very impressed with the Bosch

    Disappointed

    2/5
Need to contact customer services as the door very stiff and difficult to open out fully . Makes Loading and in unloading the dishwasher impossible as it springs shut. Also it arrive wet inside . Contacted customer services who said it was condensation? Not happy with this product. Bought as read the reviews and thought SMEG would be quality product.

Good Brand, at a Good Price, BUT....

    2/5
Good brand at a good price, spacious too, but disappointingly awkward! The Machine is rather flimsy and door adjustment difficult to get good consistent alignment with other cabinets. Top cutlery tray is time consuming to load, requiring each item to be separately positioned in the slotted rack. Its shallow too and wont take any larger items like serving spoons or they will touch the top spray bar. Obviously, when you come to empty it its just a fiddle. Automatic door opening? doesn't this just allow all the hot moist air out of the machine, adding to condensation in kitchen? I've turned it off.. Door closing is not very positive and doesn't have a good 'feel'. The bottom tray glides in and out almost too easily when loaded with heavy crockery, but the middle one needs a firm push to seat the spray bar on its seal. After use, when its pulled out, trapped water cascades on to the bottom rack (empty the bottom one first!). Salt reservoir lid is a fiddle to put on and not firm and positive. The Controls are not particularly intuitive if you want to change pre set settings and could easily be so much better. Finally, Wash quality is okay but no better than the 20 year old Bosch it replaced...

    Too early to tell

    3/5
Good value - seems ok - door opens when cycle finished which is good. Due to storm had no power for 3 days so only used once - time will tell. Cannot rate 5 because not used often enough - if it still works in 6 months maybe a 4 but given built in obsolence of many white goods will not rate 5.

    Good dishwasher but complicated fitting.

    3/5
The dishwasher itself is okay, easy to operate and standard modes. The fitting instructions are very complicated. This is the 3rd integrated dishwasher (plus washers and dryers) we have fitted and never had a problem before but the instructions for this model are very complicated and there are not any YouTube or other online instructions.
