    Faulty Product

We received the coffee machine and the milk steamer didn’t work. We had to contact Smeg to get our replacement.

    Looks can be deceiving

This coffee machine looks really nice but has a couple of basic design flaws: the milk wand is too short and there’s no way of lengthening it; also, the pump is not strong enough to pass water through if the coffee is too finely ground. On the plus side it heats up quite quickly, but overall I’m quite disappointed.

    Great little gadget

Great little machine . Makes great espressos and can use steam arm for cappuccinos , flat whites etc. Really quick to warm up once turned on and feels reasonably robust. Small water reservoir ample enough for a few coffees but in a big household will need filling up quite often. No instructions for back flush cleaning only descaling but will need a back flush to prevent coffee grounds getting stuck . Pay a lot for the retro look but if it lasts a few years then it will be worth it .

    Really nice coffee!

Makes really nice coffee, easy to use, seems very substantial, and it is a lovely looking machine. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the milk frother could be longer.

    Doesn’t come with a jug

Great product, looks great and makes brill coffee but it doesn’t come with the jug shown!

    Great Coffee

Really easy to use and great value for money in comparison to other ones on the market which do exactly the same thing. Having used a Sage, which is very noisy, it was a relief that this one makes little to no noise. Only negative, is that for some reason I have to hold the cup in place otherwise it will fall off with a vibration not sure how to prevent that from happening.

    Coffee coffee coffee all day

This was the second attempt at purchasing a exspresso coffee We the looked at the reviews and ended up with our new family member SMEG THE family.have had lots of fun making all sorts of coffees to a quality standard. The Smeg dose what it says on the box and much more THE 50s style fits well in the kitchen A good product

Great Espresso maker - instructions could be better

This is a great and attractive machine. Just could have done with instructions that made some pretty simple things obvious - like being able to pull out the higher drop tray and put a full size mug in and making an Americano.
