This is our first hob away from gas and we should have done it years ago. Effortlessly stylish and typically well made and designed, the Siemens induction hob has great functionality too. We can prepare and cook lots of different foods at once with great control ability. And it’s so easy to clean compared to the old hob with its black pot stands that were such high maintenance. The new hob also sits beautifully in our new stone worktop. Admittedly, I was initially sceptical about making the change to induction but I really shouldn’t have worried. The other half was right. For once:)

The hob was bought as part of a total kitchen refit. This is the first induction hob I have purchased. The unit looks very sleek and modern. It fitted easily into the worktop and was simply wired into the new wiring that had been added for this item. The controls are simple to use and so far all the meals have literally gone down well. The hob surface cleans easily and the display indicates when there is still residual heat. The control can be locked for a short time if there are any spills during cooking making the whole thing much easier than using my old gas cooker. An excellent product.
