    Smart looking design

    4/5
Very economical on detergent & conditioner when using the ezDispense system , download additional programmes but over wrights the previous one, very quiet operating haven’t used the steam function as yet , the downside is after the final spin on any programme just as it’s gently tumbling the garments it sprays water into the drum wetting what has been spun, contacted LG support on this matter and was informed it is a common occurrence with this model. Beware !

    What a stupid design

    3/5
I recently upgraded from my 13-year-old LG machine, that went defective, to a new one. Unfortunately, it arrived with a defective pump that produced a loud screeching noise right from the start. AO’s customer service was less than satisfactory, but a replacement for the machine is now in process. The machine seems to be efficient and cleans clothes quickly. However, the design of the off button is a significant drawback. It’s overly sensitive and turns the machine off at the slightest touch. Here’s what happened during the first wash: I loaded the machine and started it. The display showed a quick wash time of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Half an hour into the wash, I reached for something in the cupboard above and my clothes brushed against the off button. The machine turned off instantly. When I turned it back on, the program had reset. Starting it again, the machine now detected wet, heavy clothes and indicated a wash time of 4 hours and 30 minutes! Three hours later, while bringing in the utility room after walking the neighbour’s dog, my clothing accidentally touched the off button again. The machine turned off immediately. To overcome this issue, I had to buy a plastic cover for the off button on a machine that cost so much. Moreover, the child lock facility does not affect the off button, which is a significant oversight in the design. This is particularly disappointing considering the cost of the machine. I am sure these issues can be resolved with a software update.
