Looks and Functionality: The perfect cooker.

    5/5
Let me start with a disclaimer. This is the first oven I have ever bought. Now, I have used hundreds of different types of ovens over time; but as a young(ish) adult, and finally doing grown up things - like buying kitchen appliances, I took this task/responsibility very seriously...after all, I'm *finally* using my own money (yes, I am emphasising my grown up-ness). This oven is a gorgeous addition to my kitchen. In terms of style, this cooker harnesses the best of both a traditional farmhouse bodywork, but with a more contemporary detailing and finishing - which allows it to fit seamlessly in any type of kitchen style, from traditional cottages, to new build high rises. I was slightly concerned with the black colour-way, as it can often have a dull finish, but there is no such issue of that with this product. I cannot flaw the functionality either. I am slightly old school in terms of my gas preference. There is something about electric hobs that simply do not excite me (I blame my mum who made gas hubs look fo professional growing up). This is what elevates this cooker from just a pretty appliance, to a must-have kitchen appliance. The gas cooker stove/hub, allows for maximum control over the heat whilst cooking - this is especially important to me, being an Indian. Whilst cooking authentic Indian food, I need to be able to really control the level of heat I use whilst cooking different spices. The hub also allows me to attach my iron cast griddle/grill pan, which essentially makes this appliance double up as a perfect bbq grill. Being a dual cooker, the oven is electric. This is perfect, because it allows for your food to be cooked across all dimensions and throughout. This means that one does not need to constantly check in on the food, or rotate/turn/flip the food in order to ensure the food gets cooked completely. I have enjoyed this oven so much, that I actually convinced my sister to buy one too (she is loving it as much as I am). Perhaps the only flaw I have, is that the grill (upper cavity of the appliance) has no window - but again, this is such a small preference, that I am happy to look over it. 10/10 - highly recommend - KS

    Quality cooker

Very happy so far, looks gorgeous, very easy to use, good space in the oven and heats up really quickly. It did take several attempts to burn off the ‘new oven smell’ though. Plus it lacks cooking options for the main oven. But If like me you only ever use fan assisted anyway then it’s not a problem. Would recommend
