Faulty on delivery

This freezer is now sold with no top flap or drawer, just an empty space so motor is continuously running to keep cold. User manual shows a drop down flap in diagram and photos show a clear door. I would definitely never have bought it if I had known in advance.

The service provided was not what was ordered. A wet installation was part of the order and I took it that this would include changing the hand of the door. On arrival, the installers said they had not been allowed time to do this. On a call to customer service we were told this was not offered on this model. This was not made clear on the website before ordering. We had to do it ourselves which proved to be less than straightforward

Very pleased with freezer overall but unfortunately the cover for the top shelf wasn’t in the consignment, hence low rating. I like the alarm that sounds if you accidentally leave the door open ??

Although this is a good product, sadly Beko has downgraded it since we bought the last one. There are no longer flaps on the front of the first two shelves and no quick freeze, nor a light to show that the freezer is on. I addition, BEKO included an old manual that still showed flaps on the two top shelves!! BEKO. management you are ruining the company

Well proportioned freezer for a smaller upright model. It had a very annoying rattle/vibration when running, and I booked an engineer appointment. I then identified the inner panel down the back inside was loose and I tightened the screw at the base. It helped a lot, however the motor and drip tray is still a little noisy and vibrates more than we would like. Its not our first Beko freezer, so are a bit disappointed as this its not as good as our last model

This is a perfectly functional freezer which (checking with my two freezer thermometers) achieves the recommended temperature of -18c. Lower temperatures are available, I tried-20c too. However it is a little small internally. Construction is lightweight (almost flimsy). On installation I knocked a chair over, it hit the door which easily dinted. Clearly not as sturdily constructed as the freezer it replaced. The instructions for changing the door around to change the opening from right to left are a joke. So poor as to be almost incomprehensible. If you struggle with self assembly furniture then forget it! Get the delivery guys to change the door around on delivery. I would have liked to go for a more premium model but this little Biko was the only upright freezer that would fit my available space,(all others being too tall). On balance it’s okay… does the job but is rather lightweight.

Nice looking freezer, not quite as much space as I was expecting and fast freeze compartment has no flap .time will tell if this is a good thing or not and I think a grab handle on the front would have been better than the opening niche on the top, as I am not very tall it is a bit awkward.
