Serious malfunction in the first week and electric shock

1/5
A pile of rubbish, gave me an electric shock when adjusting one of the legs at the bottom, ao team got in touch with me to ask me how it went they passed me over to Beko and I immediately got cut off, the freezer went cold for a few days and then ceased to function, all my food defrosted. Got in touch with Beko helpline and after 30 minutes on the first call I got bored and hung up, after 50 minutes on the second call I got through and they organised an engineer to come and certify it broken four days later, not much use to my food. Trying to get in touch with ao to get this piece of junk off my premises.

AVOID!!!

1/5
This review is for the freezer itself. The processing of the order by AO itself progressed seamlessly. Just outside the first twelve months, the motherboard went faulty. I lost a huge amount of frozen food. Fortunately, I had paid out for an extended guarantee so this was sorted out. A year later, I again awoke to a small flood in my kitchen. The compressor was noisy, the freezer defrosted and I also lost seven bin bags full of food - again. The repair man has just left. The refrigerant had leaked through no fault of my own and the entire freezer needs replacing. I am now awaiting Domestic and General's call to (hopefully) get a decent replacement. I have never had such trouble from a household appliance. It has put me off BEKO for life

bit of of a noisy box really

This upright freezer looks fine and finish is fine. The layout inside is good. The instructions were a little confusing particularly about first use and control setting. The real downside is that although I have filled the freezer with already frozen food from another one that it sounds like a noisy radiator. My small chest freezer is never heard yet this seems to have the motor running a lot of the time and its opened very little. I live alone.

Poor quality and poor service from Beko

1/5
Had to change the door around which was not easy as the instructions were difficult to follow and many tools were needed. The door handle would not then fix properly so was unuseable. Requested a replacement door which Beko said would come the following Wednesday. An engineer turned up but no door. Another week and a half later I chased up and was told there were no spare doors. The freezer when I put it on was very noisy so I have rejected it.

Good for outbuildings

3/5
Jury's out - seal seemed inadequate at first and the whole freezer was covered in condensation for the first few days, but appears to be working now... Bought because it can cope with the highs and lows of outbuilding temperatures. Our last Beko worked excellently for many years, I sincerely hope this will do too

Service we could not fault

3/5
Very disappointed with lack of interior space with all the draws as it was bought having only viewed it on line and the print out say all your bags of shopping will be accommodated ,it has not match the one we replaced after 37/8 years of service.

A good value for money product. The absence of a temperature readout, inside or outside, is slightly limiting. Changing the 'hand' of the door is not trivial and the instructions for doing this are poor.
