Less than speedy customer service

10 days after delivery it stopped working. AO were not particularly interested in dealing with it in a speedy way, I.e by replacing it from stock, insisting on defaulting to the manufacturers service company. So we then had to wait another 10 days for a service engineer to arrive to confirm it was not working. That's 10 days during which we had no fridge or freezer so all our perishible and fresh foodstuffs were lost. As it turned out the fault was very simple to rectify, a connector had been poorly assembled and had just dropped off.
I believe the product is actually a good product. But my view of AO, after 3 or 4 previous hassle free purchases has been soured somewhat by their approach to this situation and the time taken to deal with the problem.
