    Less than speedy customer service

    10 days after delivery it stopped working. AO were not particularly interested in dealing with it in a speedy way, I.e by replacing it from stock, insisting on defaulting to the manufacturers service company. So we then had to wait another 10 days for a service engineer to arrive to confirm it was not working. That's 10 days during which we had no fridge or freezer so all our perishible and fresh foodstuffs were lost. As it turned out the fault was very simple to rectify, a connector had been poorly assembled and had just dropped off. I believe the product is actually a good product. But my view of AO, after 3 or 4 previous hassle free purchases has been soured somewhat by their approach to this situation and the time taken to deal with the problem.

    It's OK. End of the day it's a cheap fridge/freezer. Does what it says on the tin. I'd say it's quality etc is about right for the price of it.

    Failed after 17 days whilst on holiday.

    Had it 17 days and came home from holiday and the fuse had blown, tried to change fuse still blew. Got an engineer appointment to visit and he fixed it. Still working now 4 days since engineer visit.

    Good size for a small kitchen.

    Perfect size for a small kitchen and plenty big enough for a couple or single person. It was easy enough to turn the door to open the other way, making it much more convenient. The handle to open the fridge door is on the top, strangely, making it difficult for children, (which could be a good thing), or the vertically challenged. I was very disappointed with the short length of the power cord. My sockets are at the usual kitchen height of about 120cm and was not possible to plug in the appliance without an extension lead. Overall a good product with a couple of nagging problems.

    Replacing my first Amica fridge freezer,fits the narrow space in my kitchen and it has a really roomy freezer .

    Does what it says. Fits into the small kitchen space perfectly. Can be a bit loud at times. Great for 1-2 person household.

    50cm wide fridge freezer

    Very difficult to source a 50cm wide fridge freezer, but fortunately AO.Com have some stock. Amica is the tallest in 50cm wide product range of fridge freeezers. Only apparent down side is that fridge does not have automatic defrost function.
