Gorgeous looking fridge but that’s where the good stuff ends. It’s awful as a practical fridge. Water is always running down the back on the inside so if anything is pushed back too far it gets all wet or starts to freeze. It’s like fridges used to be. We bought this to look pretty in the kitchen, luckily we have our American double fridge freezer that we kept in the garage. It’s got neofrost technology and is totally frost free and no wetness or water dripping anywhere. I would not recommend this Amica fridge freezer and I wouldn’t buy another. We just use this for the essentials we need on hand. Looks good but works terrible ????????????

Very well made and looks great. Ours had a slight chip on the bottom of the door and we could have had it replaced. However, we became aware of the minimum temperature of 16, be careful with this as when the room temperature drops below (which it can even in summer) then the freezer will stop working.

We’re super happy with our Amica retro style fridge freezer in duck egg blue. It’s a lovely colour, the rounded lines and the handles and logo all add to the overall vintage look. We were slightly concerned that the 60/40 fridge/freezer split would leave us short on freezer space but the drawers are deep and we had no problems fitting all the food from our old freezer into it. (For the record we’re a couple with no kids who don’t buy a lot of frozen food so for our needs it’s actually perfect.) For our requirements the fridge is more than ample. We buy a lot more fresh than frozen and have been really pleased with how much room the fridge has. A few reviewers we saw on various sites said they thought the handles were a bit cheap looking. We didn't found this at all - they have great retro styling and are metal. One minor thing was that the fridge door could have used one more shelf compartment than it was supplied with. However I called Amica’s customer service the next day to order an additional door shelf and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Yes you have to pay but the shelf arrived the very next day. When we first thought about buying a retro fridge our thoughts inevitably turned to Smeg. The price put us off so we did a ton of research and settled on the Amica. So far, so good! If you’re looking for a practical but stylish retro fridge, we’d say go for it!

Its tiny and within days of using it the drawer in the freezer snapped off.
