My previous two dishwashers were Bosch. Both failed after less than 5 years with the same heat exchange fault so I decided to change brand. I have an aeg oven and washing machine and happy with both. The dishwasher is a mixed bag. Although the same size externally, internal space is less. Partly because of the tray at the top for cutlery and the lower tray is limited by the mechanism for lifting. I was unaware of this feature and it isn’t one I’d chose; it looks like a future problem waiting to happen. The cantilever mechanism works but keeping it maintained is tedious. The machine washes but it’s not exceptional and because the lower tray is smaller than the Bosch, it’s difficult to arrange pans etc so they all clean well. I have to do a couple of washes where before one would have taken all pots and pans after a roast dinner meal. Easy to operate. Don’t like the open door function which releases horrible chemical washtub fragrance into the kitchen dining area. I’ve disabled that and now the door remains shut and the dishes remain wet. Would I chose this machine again? No.

Bought for elderly person to save bending as much for emptying, but hydraulic action is a bit stiff and may take some getting used to. Not quite as easy to pull out as I thought it would be. Rolls out then sticks a bit and needs a slightly harder pull to get it right out before the hydraulic kicks in. Otherwise its a nice machine.

Only been using a week but so far so good no leaks unlike my other one!

Replaced an almost identical older model, fired in easily and familiar controls. Very helpful as the old one died 3 days before Christmas and managed to get the new one next day.
