Bought to replace an 8 yr old Zanussi and serving a family of 4. The product was installed personally and was easy enough but it might take some help to manoeuvre into position or otherwise ask a pro to install it. Took me about an hour all in. Pros: 1. No issues with residue or failing to clean; everything has come out sparklng so far. 2. Quiet 3. Plenty of programme options; you can have things clean quickly 4. Makes incredible use of internal space and basket height adjustment is straightforward. Bottom basket also adapts to allow larger items in by allowing the supporting bars to be placed flat. Cons: 1. Power wash (SatelliteClean) function means there is a pump on the inlet; as our water inlet is in an adjacent cabinet, the hole for the connecting pipe was too small to pass the pump through which necessitated some modifications. 2. Internal baskets/cutlery draw use fairly flimsy/flexible plastics - this probably keeps the cost down but I don't know (yet) how durable these will be (though a 2 year warranty means I'm not that worried about it) 3. The door opens at the end of a cycle (you can switch this off) which is unnerving overnight if you aren't expecting it! Overall, I am happy with the appliance so far and it is exceeding my expectations. I did not want to spend a fortune on a dishwasher but did not want a flimsy machine and the AEG seems to have the right balance between cost/quality for an appliance that is used at least daily.

We bought this dishwasher because as well as rating well, it has the sliding door hinges which mean that when we fitted our new kitchen, we didn't have to cut into the plinth in front of the dishwasher. This feature works very well and we are very happy with it. The dishwasher cleans very well and effectively. The controls and settings are easy to understand and operate. The two minor downsides are 1. that to get normal size plates in the bottom drawer, the top drawer has to be raised, which make the top drawer very cramped, and 2. it doesn't dry the dishes well at all, but instead offers an "air dry" function, which just means that it pops the door open to let it dry naturally. This is a bit of a disappointment.

Works efficiently. Very quiet. Controls easy to use. Quick cycle is great and cleans well. Door opening is useful for drying but not perfect. One problem was the spray arm impacted our main dinner plates. We did not realise there are two positions for the top tray, and our kitchen fitter had installed in lower position. Couldn’t find anything written in instruction booklet or troubleshooting, and only after engineer came out and repositioned the tray, we discovered an obscure diagram in a supplementary sheet to the instruction manual.

This replaced an earlier model of this machine which we had for 19 years. Great value and a good Which? Review.

Great flexible layout. Particularly like that the plate racks can be up or down so that larger items fit in easily. The cutlery tray at the top is a safe and efficient way to get these clean. Able to be fully fitted with no problems attaching the integrated kitchen door. Only downside is the spacing between the stem glass holders - too spaced and more could fit in.

Fast and efficient Very quiet

We’re delighted with our new dishwasher. Cleans brilliantly every time and most of the settings also get the items bone dry too. I particularly appreciate being able to tell exactly how long each cycle will last and there’s a four-hour eco cycle too, which I use overnight.

Overall the dishwasher is very good, unfortunatly the ''button'' and ''end of cycle'' sounds are not loud enough. Neither my wife or i can hear them!
