This was my second LG Washer / Dryer and replaces my first now aged and worn out machine. My old machine was always very reliable until age and hard work called for a replacement. So far the new one is living up to past experiences and is easy to operate, fast and efficient.

I was slightly concerned by a recent 1 star review of this product which rated it as extremely noisy - I have not noticed that - in the manual it states that the machine will be extremely noisy if you forget to take the transport bolts out of the back before switching it on - it is possible that the person who installed the one rated as a 1 star did not do that, only rating it as a 4 star as it is very heavy much more so that my previous model and difficult to manoeuvre into position as it has rubber feet which resist pushing it around - good to stop it moving after it's installed though so a bit of a plus and minus there

I really regret buying this machine. It is incredibly noisy on the wash spin even at the lower levels (it is completely level on a solid floor so that is not the issue), I have only tried the dryer briefly but had for turn it off after 10 minutes as the noise was unbearable. The wash programmes are too long- if you want one shorter than 3 hours you have to reduce the load size by half which defeats the object of having an 8kg capacity machine. Finally the tunes when you switch it on and when it finishes we’re amusing the first time but after that just annoying and there is no way to turn them off. Overall I hate this machine and dread doing the washing now. If I return it I only get 50% refund which means I don’t have enough to buy an alternative.
