Really realistic when fully working. Could do with a bigger heat output at times but very effective. Took a little while for the plasticky newness to wear off. More 'logs' would really improve the overall effect.

This log effect stove is absolutely brilliant in every sense of the word,I am an o.a.p.and had no problem putting it together.yes it's quiet,easy to use, quality superb,log effect looks real. It is more expensive than a lot of other stoves but it is the same old story you get what you pay for and the Dimplex Gosford is worth every penny.I would recommend it to any one. The product was a Christmas gift. It arrived on time. Was easy to set up and looked amazing very pleased with it. Easy to set up and move around.

Really pleased with this fire. Looks great in my lounge and gives a really authentic wood burning look. As close to a real wood burner, without all the hassle and smell ! Gives the room a lovely glow and smoke effect is very realistic. Sturdy and easy to set up. The water in the tank seems to last for around 3 nights or 9 hours of use. Excellent purchase!

It is so realistic, just like the real thing without the mess and inconvenience. The flames and smoke have to be seen to be believed, it is also extremely quiet compared to others that I have seen. Have not needed to use the fan heater but it seems efficient enough. We wanted it for the effect and occasional heating.

Everyone asks me how I managed to get a log burning stove in my particular dwelling. It looks that real. When I tell them it's an electric stove they are gob smacked. Winner winner chicken dinner.,..,
