Seems like a good replacement for our old freezer, which was a Siemens of the same size. A couple of negatives though - I’m not a big fan of the open shelves at the top, but that is personal choice. Also, there is no light in this freezer, which I do find a bit annoying as it means I have to switch the main ceiling light on in order to see inside it properly.

Well made, sleek-looking. Freezes fast. I like the product but----- Two issues: The on/off switch is not labeled and There is no release on the door to allow the air pressure to equalize so that the door opens easily - a major problem for the old/infirm. An issue if you want to open the door shortly after closing it

I am very pleased with this freezer which replaced one I had for several years. Having the shelves and deep boxes is very useful rather than having all pullout boxes. I have given this product four stars rather than five because it would be more helpful to have the super freeze and temperature lights on the outside rather than inside which mean having to open the freezer door to see if I have remembered to turn off fast freeze.

This is much larger than our previous freezer but so, so quiet! Drawers and shelves layout make finding things easy. Impressed with the thickness of insulation compared to my old one. Some don't like the open top two shelves but we find them no problem at all. Some would prefer a light but I can't see how one could be effective on such a large appliance with drawers - no problem for us either. Must say we like the Bosch build quality - we have it all round our home :))

A wonderful replacement for my old chest freezer. I no longer have to go out to the garage in the cold and dark, now everything is stored neatly in my new upright freezer! We redesigned our kitchen specifically so that we can now fit a dryer and an upright freezer. I was a little concerned that it might not be as spacious, but everything fitted with the top shelf still free. Best of all it's frost free so no more defrosting for me, love it!
