    Do not waste your money

AVOID THIS UNIT. It simply does not work as a cooker hood. We have had problems with this unit since we purchased it in April 2022; we did not install it until July (no one's fault as we were waiting for a new splashback). Once our electrician installed it, it became immediately apparent that it had two fatal flaws. Firstly the touch controls don't work. The Hoover engineer who visited said it was because the panel needs to be perfectly clean to detect. It is not practical given the device is a cooker hood, and cleaning it between touches may be too sensitive for a device designed to go above pans cooking. Secondly, the device only has a single speed setting; we call it "Hurricane!". We wanted a device for a Kitchen Diner and being unable to talk, let alone hear yourself think in the same room when it's on what is labelled as "Low", ruins that whole aesthetic.

    Looks great

    4/5
Looks great & works very well although a little noisy. Only issue is if you want to use the chimney then you need to have extremely high ceilings as the depth of the extractor plus the minimum distance from the hob means that you can’t use the chimney on a standard height ceiling.

    Too small

The inside of the microwave is tiny despite looking big from the outside

    Pros and cons

    3/5
It looks nice. It sounds like its sucking the air out of the whole house which I guess is both good and bad. I'm worried the cocker spaniel might get sucked into the jet if she wanders too close... but equally I want the steam sucked up so I'm taking the risk. The biggest annoyance is the sensitivity of the touch controls for the lighting though... I'm getting better at making it light up or turn off but i didn't expect to need to develop a skill to use the darn thing!!

20% of the time - works every time.

    1/5
First impression was that it looks good - but this opinion quickly faded once the electrician came along and plugged it in. As a product - it just doesn't function. It is pretty pointless having it in your home if the touch buttons don't recognise touch. We've all had a go to the point of exasperation and it's official - it's rubbish. 20% of the time - it works every time. That is of course if you can get it to work for that particular 20%. Which you probably wont... Still - looks good.

    Poor instructions

    2/5
Haven’t installed it yet so can’t comment on how well it works but the reason we haven’t installed it yet it’s because the instructions are absolutely terrible. The manual has so many errors in it and very little clarity.

    Great extraction for large kitchen

    4/5
Really powerfully fan. Clears the room really quickly. Buttons do take getting used to but once you have the knack it's fine. It's is noisy but what do you expect with this size of extractor motor? Would definitely recommend this product as its way cheaper than other makes which are suitable for large kitchens.
