    Good looking cooker but…

Bottom oven door has lower corners which I frequently catch my feet on. The grill is slow to heat up. Nice to have a light in the top oven. No timer.

    GREAT COOKER

    4/5
Only had this a week. This Hotpoint cooker is a replacement for another brand cooker I had various regular problems with. Let’s start with the positives. The fan oven is far superior than a multi fan oven and cooks far better than than my old one in my opinion and does so evenly and throughout no matter what position the shelf is at . The hobs heat super quick and the large back one is excellent for larger pots. The solar grill takes a bit of getting used to as there is no noise but once heated it’s so fast .You just have to keep your eye on it until you get used to it .I now love it . Now for the negatives which are niggles but none the less important. The markings on the dials are very faint and perhaps would be better underneath the front plastic like my old cooker especially if your eyesight or lighting poor but given the comments from others saying same perhaps Hotpoint could take these consumer concerns on board for future appliances regarding this . Also the main oven door .Watch your toes!Stand back a bit when opening door as it’s so low to the ground it scraped across my foot. The other little niggle is the door catch is very stiff to open and close .I have gave this 4 stars purely due to these but I can still highly recommend this cooker if you looking to replace an old one or it’s your first buy for the price you cannot go wrong .

It's good. It heats well and cooks evenly. It looks smart although the fronts panel is a bit flimsy.

Very easy to use, love the style and fits right in with everything else. Would recommend but make sure you use the right pans. Copper tends to take a while to heat through.

    Excellent mid priced cooker

    4/5
Excellent mid-price cooker. Two good sized ovens and the SolarPlus grill is a great innovation, though it can catch you out on first use, as it is quite fierce. All 4 hot plates are very efficient and the warning lights stay on until the plate is cold. My only niggle, as others have mentioned, is that the oven controls are not the clearest and show temperature in increments of 20 degrees, so setting a temperature of say 170 is a bit hit and miss

    Excellent looking cooker

The cooker itself looks lovely in my kitchen very smart set out however only 1 point I would like to mention I think the numbers on knobs could have been a bit more clearer so you immediately see them when changing from 1 heat setting to another. That's a minor issue the actual cooker is really good and cooks very good too. It also has a lovely shine to its body. Thankyou Hotpoint!
