disappointing, don’t buy for the wifi

1/5
Avoid. I purchased this as I liked the idea of wifi but this didn’t work more than once despite resetting, redone loading and speaking with hoover support. Read app reviews for hoover wizard as this will give you an indication how reliable the app is. It didn’t hold 16 place settings as advertised it was very limited how much we could get in on one wash. The handle is flimsy and feels like it will come away in your hand when you open, and the touch buttons are poor quality. I actually returned this after a few days as I struggled to get a good clean and couldn’t fit a full load in.

This dishwasher is useless, the language is Turkish?. Which I cannot change. I am now waiting for an engineer from Hoover.

Design overall needed

1/5
The design of the racks on this dishwasher are terrible, great if you want to load it up with plates but for bowls-breakfast dishes it’s awful, plus the space between the plate prongs is so small the plates more or less touch, Really hard to get the program set far too touch sensitive and complicated, I have had dishwashers for over 35yrs now and this as got to be the worst one I’ve ever bought

Hoover dishwasher

The racks on the dishwasher do not hold the plates up right and the items in the dishwasher and it falls when in use the plates door dose not open or close right and the settings on it are to long not worth the money been ripped of and the drivers who came to drop of the dish washer through I was a woman called me sweet heart by god I was really put of by it all. I didn't think the drivers was helpful at all one bit I am very sad and can not get anything back no refund nothing. I am still going to keep shopping with you tho and maybe change my dish washer to a better brand I took the rick with a hoover dishwasher should of gone for a hotpoint one with the 3d spy on it thank you.

Sounds good on paper but...

I am surprised by all the great reviews this dishwasher has. I love dishwashers. They save me my least favourite chores. But this is the petulant teenager of dishwashers. It has a bad attitude. From the three second delay between you pressing the power button to it finally beeping into life, to the lacklustre cleaning, bad plate racks (which don't accommodate small side plates at all or bowls particularly well). Octagonal plates? Forget it, they stop the bottom arm spinning. Bowls? Only get clean if you leave three plate rack spaces between each one, and then the front one is still dirty. Trying to fit pans in is a challenge for our big household. For a dishwasher that claims so many place settings, we regularly have to wait for a cycle to finish before we can out in the second lot of dinner pots. And the only cycle that works well is the four hour night cycle. This is the most disappointing dishwasher I have ever owned.

Somewhat of a let down

I've left it a few months before leaving this review because I'm not accustomed to leaving bad ones. I expected this dishwasher to fit more crockery than our previous one, but it is so badly designed that less fits in. For example, the two sides of the bottom rack has space where you can put, for example, dinner plates running from the back to the front. However, none of our three standard size dinner sets allow you to put plates next to each other. Octagonal plates stop the arm from spinning. Small side plates stop the arm spinning because they hang too low, yet they are too large for the top rack (and don't get me started on how useless the prong positioning is up top). How Hoover calculates that this fits 16 place settings, I don't know - perhaps a doll's tea set? Cereal bowls placed at the front of the rack don't get washed - even rice krispies are not rinsed off, so don't think about putting a porridge bowl there. Liquid tablets rarely fall from the soap dispenser, so we now just throw them in. You need premium detergent in this machine to get it to clean, but the best Finish tablets end up sticking in the dispenser. Cups in the four corners on the top rack are simply not washed - a coffee cup comes out with rings still in it. And the little shelves above the cups - nothing ever comes clean. Wifi connection - have no clue why I thought this would be a useful tool, it really isn't. So - positives (and why it doesn't get 1*) - the quick programmes are pretty efficient if you load everything towards the centre of the machine. Standard programmes are quicker than other dishwashers we've had. Cutlery basket is great - it splits into two, and we only ever use one half, which frees up more space in the lower basket. And we have a spare for when it inevitably breaks and knives poke out the bottom! Overall, disappointed with this dishwasher.

Style over substance

The dishwasher looks great and I like the way you can move and drip the dish holders in the bottom but, it's actually not that big inside. I have found that I have to either put the load on twice or I end up hand washing my dishes as it doesn't seem to do it very well. The functions of the dishwasher are great and can be used with the app but I have had better... For cheaper.
