Great printer, fast and effective. Easy to setup. Reasonable price. Only does black & white and doesn't have scan or fax, but it prints really well.

A marvellous compact printer. Very easy to set up and a very handy app on my mobile makes printing a breeze. I needed something that would still work after months of neglect. As I got fed up throwing dried up ink cartridges away. This package deal with 5 cartridges will definitely ensure I have a reliable source of printing for many many years to come. We needed a reliable printer as I am currently working from home. We researched as many options as possible and the Brother HL-1212W all in box laser printer came closest to our requirements. It does what says on the tin, was easy to set up, comes with lots of ink and does good quality black and white printing. It does not scan or photocopy and if you need more sophisticated colour prints it is not for you. It is exactly what we wanted and what we expected.

Does not connect to phones easily to print but easy to set up for printing from laptops/desktops. Includes the printing so seems value for money.

I bought this for the teenagers as they are now in their exam years at school. It printed out an information booklet with pictures really well. I did have a thought as I was setting, that I'd been sold a faulty printer that I had read in another review as it didn't connect to the Wi-Fi through the WPS button... if you follow the steps and download the drivers onto the laptop then it connects very easily without the use of WPS. Two happy teenagers that they are printing a good quality piece of work.
