bought to replace old bosch hmt8655 this was the only model that would fit into unit. very overpriced for a basic microwave,time will tell how reliable this model works,the old one kept overheating,the magnatron was replaced five times over five years.i would recomend you insure against breakdowns, take out five years insurance cover.

Compares badly to similar previously owned built-in NEFF. 1" less inside so unable to use some of my dishes. Sounds tinny when closing door. Purchased this product soley to fit existing housing. Very few options for 50cms cabinets.

I have had a great experience from Bosch appliances and after 8 years of use I was forced to replace my much loved and much used Bosch microwave. Although it looked the same, the quality was significantly inferior to the original product. Extremely disappointing.

Bought this microwave thinking it was the same as my old Neff, knowing a lot of microwaves are the same, though have a different manufacturer name on same appliance. It looked very similar with similar specifications unfortunately this is nothing like my old microwave. Compared to my old micro this feels and sounds cheap and nasty. Instructions for defrosting confusing. Really wish I'd returned it immediately. I feel I paid a hefty price for an inferior product.

This model of Microwave was purchased as a direct replacement for the earlier model that was built in to our kitchen. The old model had lasted for 7 yeas and due to the size of the cupboard housing, we had little choice but to purchase this microwave. Regrettably, it is an expensive replacement compared to some on the market but if it lasts another 7 years, we will be happy. Looks good in the housing and it does everything we want.

We didn't want to pay for another Siemens microwave and went for the more keenly priced Bosch which looks almost identical to the one it replaced. There is definitely a difference with the quality of the casing, however since we do not use the machine extensively,and use just the basics it just didn't warrant paying the extra premium. So far so good, the machine has worked perfectly.
