The only reason why I ended up buying the Hoover was because it was the only free standing fridge freezer that would fit into the extremely narrow space left by a knackered 12-year old integrated one. The fridge section is badly designed which means that storing any full sized milk cartons means you need to take out one of the shelves. It's also making a weird noise when it starts the cooling cycle - not a big problem if you don't install it in an open plan kitchen. The lower door had a dent, but having lived without a fridge for more than I week I didn't ask for a replacement.

Bit noisier than expected. Instructions not very good, rather generic. Impossible to change door from RHS to LHS opening as one nut on base was absolutely unmovable; could not be unscrewed - socket set, wrench, hammer and chisel to loosen it all failed

Mmmmh, packing space not very well thought out. Shelving shallow. You will loose a door shelf if you want to put, even a 2 pint of milk in the door. Quite a noisy motor too. We bought this fridge to replace our previous appliance with the same LT capacity and it just doesn't compare.

the fridge looks great but at times very noisy (on and off). At the same time, the sides get quite warm and have realized that the temperature is uneven within the fridge and unfortunately not really what the temperature shows on the digital display

Very good fridge for cooling & freezing, does the job. Perhaps my own mistake in the order, it's a lot smaller than I thought - the capacity is quite limited

Structure of the internal elements could be much better

It is quite noisy compared to my previous fridge freezer. You get what you pay for and it’s very functional and the freezer compartment is much more roomier than it looks

Good value for the price
