Good but!

3/5
Even though we have raised the temperature of the fridge to 8'C some goods such as small fruit and milk keep freezing. Freezer is excellent.

Exceeds expectations

5/5
We got this fridge freezer after the unexpected demise of our old top spec one during the heatwave. We were expecting it to be noticeably less good than the old one, given that it costs less than a 3rd of what we paid 7 years ago - but were pleasantly surprised. Aesthetically, it's really nice from the front - brushed steel effect, but it's flat and shiny up close, making it much easier to remove toddler marks than our other appliances. The handle starts above toddler height, the display is discrete, and the whole door is magnetic which is good for families with kids that bring home art. The most important part is it's nice and quiet - officially 41dB but noise is always subjective and it doesn't make any annoying buzzes or clanks. Inside, the interior looks nice and easy to clean, and LED lights mean we'll never have to change the bulb, which is handy. Compartments fit 3 big milks in the door, the one above holds upright wine, and the shelves are adjustable (and importnaly the bottom one is tall enough for upright 660ml bottles of beer). We've had it just over a week now, and there's no sign of frost in the freezer, and we've not had any unfortunate veg freezing incidents in the fridge either. I'm sure we'll miss the old fridge's built in water and ice, but for the price we're well impressed with this Haier.

Solid

5/5
We bought this plainly because the gap we were putting it in was slightly less than 90cm (which the majority of American fridges are at least) and this fit the bill. Pleasantly surprise by the build quality and finish. Does not look cheap in any way. Capacity is really good, nice deep shelves etc. Very easy to set up too. I did it alone and was easy due to it being on wheels so you can shuffle it around easily. Very happy with my purchase and what a price!

Haier fridge freezer

5/5
Beautiful looking fridge freezer. Replacing a larder fridge which initially made me worry about the size of the compartments. However there is more than ample room for everything you need with lots of individual smaller compartments. There is a door alarm which is useful if the door has accidentally been left open. There us an automatic defrost function for the freezer and a quick freeze function. Overall excellent quality very pleased with product.

Good value fridge freezer but not practical for my needs

4/5
I got the fridge freezer on promotion so it was good value. It was easy to install yourself as long as you have someone physically strong enough to help you move it into place. The unit itself is quiet in operation but I find that the fridge compartment is actually less practical (despite being larger) and has less storage than my previous "classic" fridge with the freezer at the bottom. There are air vents to help with cooling but is limited to vents at the top only rather than the whole length of the fridge. Although the fridge doors looks nice, I would have preferred if there was a proper handle now. The reason being that as a right handed person its not natural for me to either open with my left hand or twist my right hand and body to open.
