The sound quality is what you would expect for a soundbar in this price range, top quality
5/5
Fantastic soundbar, very well made (looks and feels very high quality) and looks great infront of the tv.
The wireless rear speakers and subwoofer pair seamlessly with the soundbar, so no messing about required to set it all up, just plug it in and away you go. If you want to make changes to the default settings, then you can use the remote control to adjust the levels of the sub, rear speakers or the main soundbar, alternatively you can adjust the settings via the SmartThings App.
The Q930D has 1 hdmi-in (2.0) port, to connect a device directly to the soundbar, however this wouldn't really needed if your tv supports ARC or eARC, as using ARC / eARC means the tv should automatically pass all sound from any source through to the soundbar, however if like me your TV does not support DTS, then connecting the blu-ray / media player that you want to play DTS soundtracks from, directly into the hdmi-in on the soundbar means that you can experience DTS audio via the soundbar without having it converted to pcm.
The sound quality is what you would expect for a soundbar in this price range, top quality (i'm sure it would give a high end a/v system a run for it's money), with a total of 17 speakers, you get good bass from the wireless subwoofer, but the system retains the clarity needed and gives a truly immersive experience when using Dolby Atmos due to the upfiring front and rear speakers.
The only negatives that I can say about the Q930D, is that the hdmi-in port is not hdmi 2.1 and therefore can not support 4K 120hz (so don't connect a PS5 or Xbox series X to the hdmi-in on this soundbar if you want to make use of the 4K 120hz mode these consoles offer). Also Samsung didn't see fit to include any HDMI cables in the box, so make sure you have all the cables you need ready for when your soundbar arrives.
