Dries what you like, for as long as you like and nothing else

    5/5
My wife wanted this as she was sick of our older tumble drier leaving the clothes 'cupboard dry', which is only really accurate for a cupboard that has been underwater fairly recently. This one is as basic as they come, it has an old style clicky timer that runs as long as you want it to and a start button, which unsurprisingly starts the drying cycle when you press it. It's not got all these confusing programmes, it has about as many options as a 1930s TV, just the one. It's basically a toaster for clothes, on its side, though I still wouldn't recommend putting cutlery in it. If you're reading this review you know what a tumble drier is. This one here dries what you like, for as long as you like and nothing else

Dries great but get a flexi hose fitting kit

    4/5
Washing that previously came up knotted together or crinkled came out smoothly and ready to go. Sheets did not even need ironing! The only thing that we were not keen on was the metalised vent hose - it was difficult to maneuver and was not at all flexible and it came with only one tightener clip. We ended up getting a more flexible fitting kit. But drying wise it is great.

    Great drier

    4/5
Great tumble drier. Went from a condenser drier back to a vented one and can honestly say it dries the clothes a lot faster. Love that it tumbles clothes both ways so they don't just roll round in a ball. The only small downside is the hose. It's metal and makes the drier stick out further than my last one but the machine itself is fab!

Nice looking machine and does what's needed.

Easy to use dial timer setting. Gets very hot when on the full setting but the low setting works well enough - just takes a little longer. Machine tumbles both ways so no tangled clothes and the cycle ends with a cooling session. Don't like the metal venting equipment that came with the machine. Had never come across a heat shield on the back of a tumble dryer before so gave Indesit a call to check that it wasn't packaging. An explanation with the machine would have been helpful.

    Love this dryer.

I'm very pleased with this Indesit tumble dryer. The last one I had was all bells and whistles with programmes for this, that, and t'other, which sounds great, but was actually a drag. With this model, I feel I have control of the machine and not vice versa. It's simple to operate. High or low heat, and for however many minutes you choose. I also like how it reverse tumbles, so no tangled items.

Great looking and as simple to operate as any I have used

Very impressive, twice as fast drying than our big brand condenser dryer that it replaced, and cheaper to run.

Easy machine to use but disappointed with vent hose

    4/5
Happy with tumble dryer very easy to use. Not happy with the fact it came with metal hose to vent through wall as I wanted to vent through open window. Think this should of been made more clear in description

You need a metal exhaust vent!

    4/5
It’s frustrating that the dryer instructions imply it is unsafe to use with a plastic venting tube, as ours existing vent is under the tiled floor and plastic; replacing this with the supplied metal one is very difficult indeed, so what should have been a simply swap is a major headache. Sad because the dryer itself has good reviews but I am yet to test it for fear of burning my home down!! Wish this information has been included in the description, or at least what temperature the exhaust gasses get to, so I could make my own judgement about the safety or not.
