I received this TV as Christmas present and was looking forward to my new Sony tv having used them for 40 years, Upon setting up everything looked great and I was pleased, Sadly that was premature because as soon as I put the football on it became apparent there were what looked like little circular light patches in the bottom right corner which was very distracting as the camera panned across the pitch, Having seen them my eyes were then dragged to this point constantly so I decided to return it but you cant you're sent to possibly the worst manufacturer customer support site I've ever experienced. I gave up trying to book a repair after an hour of trying. I'd certainly choose a tv where the warranty is covered by the seller next time.

A good TV, and easy to set up and use. One niggle is that when scrolling through channels there is an annoying lag and info for the previous channel hangs for a moment, which is a bit frustrating.

This is our first smart TV and although it is a massive improvement in terms of picture and sound quality we are not able to take full advanatge of all the features. Your regular TV channels and apps are reasonably easy to set up but as for everything else, not so much. This is one of the reasons why we put if off for so long! Despite this, we are getting what we want out of it but would be tip top if we knew how to obtain full functionality. For the price, we cannot complain, as long as it works its a 10 out of 10!

Good quality Sony product, which works reasonably well over HDMI with other Sony products such as the sound system and video recorder box. Shame that its integration with Android isn't as effective as it is with Apple products. Also that the built-in browser app is difficult to use and read (small font) and cannot be replaced with something more effective such as Chrome (the underlying operating system is apparently Linux, not Android).

It has taken me a little while to fathomn oput all the features. It is a great improvement on my previous TV, but that was bought 10 years ago. I am disappointed that I can''t download any app that I want. Google Play Store is not available even though this is a Google TV. It would seem that the only Apps I can download are ones that Sony/Google choose. I can set up links to the Internet but that is somewhat clumsy. But the picture is nice an clear.

I bought his product to replace a faulty 4K UHD TV. There is no doubt the picture and sound quality is outstanding, however, all the added features eg Google TV, SMART TV YouView etc get in the way when you simply want to watch FreeView or Freesat channels. Setting up the TV took ages disabling all the add-ons and qualifying external monitoring of my viewing etc!
