A Number of Positives, A Couple of Minor Negatives
4/5
It's taken a few uses to suss out how this machine operates. The programmes initially seem very long (eg three hours), but the machine does alter this as items dry. I do not generally separate laundry into towels, sheets, t shirts, synthetics etc, just light and dark. I have found that the machine stops as soon as any of the items are dry. If I am around, I pull out the dry items and set it off again. It still takes considerably less than 3 hours to dry a fairly large load.
Our machines are stacked by a wall so I do find the lights near the top on the dual control hard to see, and where to touch the buttons is not as obvious as it could be.
If you are going to stack, you may heed a short extension cable. Although our sockets are at the current standard height from the floor for the UK, the cable was 10cm too short to reach the socket.
I don't find that this machine produces as much fluff as my previous one so I am hoping that means it's gentler on the laundry and clothes etc might last longer.
The machine uses a lot less power than our previous vented machine, so if it lasts the same time (14years), the heat pump system should be a worthwhile investment and ease my conscience a little by having less of an impact on the environment.
