It's a nice looking appliance. The stainless steel is good at not showing fingerprints too easily. Lots of storage space. Only criticism is that I would have preferred the side panels to have the same finish as the doors as we haven't placed it into a recess. The left-hand drawer cannot be opened without first opening both doors due to the door strip. Making the drawer 25mm narrower would have solved this and I would prefer the loss of that small amount of storage to remove the need to open both doors.

Great looking design very spacious inside particularly the fridge. The 3 second lock reminder comes on after a short while which is helpful. Like other American fridges you have to open the right side to open the left side of the fridge so a tad inconvenient, but I just put all the frequent stuff on the right side like breakfast items etc.

Impressively large fridge area. Will come into it's own at Christmas. Still trying to find our optimum weekly storage method after previously having a single door American style fridge. Good door space but not very convenient for uk milk carton as wrong size. Better for bottles with gadget supplied. Freezer has very good drawer space and helpful handles for lifting drawers out and filling. Alarm if fridge or freezer door open wide for too long, while filling for example. May become annoying or I may speed up! Only four stars for two reasons. Doors tend to be a bit tricky to close, or rather an average door swing isn't enough to close door. Also freezer doors bounce open if you close fridge too hard. We still are struggling to find a happy medium after a week. Good Super Freeze features and economy for on holidays etc. Looks good and I'm sure we'll get used to it, but not sure if I'd seen it first I would've bought it. Our previous Samsung died (when full) after many years and we needed it urgently and none locally to try.

I hope this will help future purchasers. A 5 star product but a bit of a journey. Great careful delivery of this enormous machine. Turned it on - all lit up but not cooling. Ran self test as per manual - all ok apparently. Manual said it could be the machine is programmed for showroom - all lights but no action. Called Bosch support - very helpful friendly agent who said if the lights are on it cannot be set for showroom. Manual seemed to say otherwise so tried to reset again - this time successful. Manual a bit poor as it does not explicitly say what to expect under all circumstances. Anyway, now works and seems to be a great machine.

4.5 stars is not an option, very good product. After 6 weeks of use it hasn't put a foot wrong. Looks great, does waht it says on the tin very well and has large capacity. Only reason I wanted a new F-F is because the old one was never quite big enough for those occasions when you need it. Well, this one delivers that space for us! It hasn't frozen any fridge food either, which I have suffered in the past. Only quibbles are 1). The front has nylon casters that don't rotate and don't lock when in position, so heavy-ish knocks can move the unit 2). The touch sensitive controls that are recessed will change settings if you open the door with high hands 3). The doors don't shut themselves as easily as the last F-F (perhaps the rear feet are adjustable and I overlooked that in the instructions 4). The outer thin plastic protectors are really hard to remove and takes patience. These are all small and I can live with them. These are the only reasons for not giving the unit 5 stars, perhaps I'm just stingy.

Disappointing to see it’s made in China but well laid out, plenty of internal space and some useful functions. Remains to see how reliable it is but so far so good.

Wanted American F/F without any drinks dispenser (non-plumbed). This model looked ideal and when it arrived, I was very pleased. Very smart with sensible interior layouts for both fridge and freezer. Runs very quietly compared to my old one and has a good energy rating. Delivered exactly when I wanted by 2 chaps who "knew their stuff". Just wish guarantee was longer without having to pay extra fees.

4 stars, because: Hard to get through the front door! Reliability unknown, as not had it long enough. Good looks. Doors fingermark easily so constantly cleaning it off. Very roomy, but need to open BOTH doors to access either lower fridge box. BOSCH's own 5-year warranty much cheaper than other alternatives.
