    Smeg 50s retro kettle

    3/5
It's easy to use and has a good look. However, the water level indicator is in perhaps the worst place they could have put it as it's obscured by the handle - which is my only criticism.

    Beautiful kettle

Such a good looking kettle. I love the style and the lid is really great soft touch mechanism. Doesn’t fling up aggressively.

Love this kettle. Very smart. However very strong smell of plastic when boiling. Gradually improving

Great style. A little cumbersome to handle with the wide base and needs extra water to cover the base too. Otherwise a very good kettle and would buy again.

The kettle works well and is quick to boil, but feels a bit cheap for the money

It’s a nice kettle , a little bit on the small side for me . Looks good in the kitchen , does the same job as other cheaper kettles. If you like nice things then buy this kettle.

Expensive and reasonable well made. Perhaps not as well made as I would have expected for the price. Is it worth it? If it still works in a few years time then all good. Time will tell.
