A thing of beauty and hopefully a joy forever. We really like the retro look of the kettle, its finish is excellent, the temperature selector is easy to use and the gentle pings to keep us informed when it has reached the required temperatures are very companionable.

Looks very nice on my kitchen counter. I have an open plan kitchen and living room, so it’s nice to have something luxurious like this Smeg kettle. Very pleased with the quality of the kettle. Boiling time is very quick. I like the option of having different temperature levels as I like to make different types of hot drinks.

I love this kettle. It is beautiful to look at. I love the temperature control aspect on it. Although it is heavy, it is easy to use. Worth every penny.

I had the Duck egg blue but have been waiting for the Black to become available.. it’s great that you can specify the temperature. It is a heavy kettle so perhaps not ideal for someone who is quite frail - but it is a very smart appliance.
