Well made as you would expect from Smeg. Alot of money for a kettle. Looks great, but like any kettle It is affected by lime scale. Nice touches like keep warm button also adjustable temperature.

    Great looking kettle

    4/5
Always wanted a smeg kettle and love it! Was waiting for the temperature adjusted kettle to come back in stock and ordered as soon as it did. Really easy to use and looks beautiful. The green is very light, more duck egg colour, so quite hard to match. I wish it was a bit more green but otherwise looks great!

    Improve the soft lid closing

    4/5
Great kettle, one star lost for the soft close lid being a little sensitive so that it’s best pressed towards the back of the lid itself on the button

    Smeg kettle

Having previously owned a smeg kettle and the lid breaking I’m hopeful that this version will be slightly more robust. It looks fantastic and was bought to match some other blue smeg appliances. It has had approximately 2 weeks use now and it’s been great up to now

    Great product but quirky boiling

    4/5
Overall a very good product. Stylish and functional. The boiling mechanism is a little quirky though. It does this thing where it starts to boil to get to the desired temperature and suddenly cuts off just before booking fully, then restarts and repeats the process about three or four times. It's odd it just doesn't keep the energy applied to get it to the desired 100C and then cut off. Seems like a slight waste of time and energy usage. Other than that it's great and the the sound notification when it boils is cool.
