Fantastic, versatile oven, more than just a microwave

This is a great piece of kitchen equipment and worth every penny. Very versatile and you can even bake cakes in it and make crispy pizzas, fantastic roast veg etc. Ideal for busy families.

Changed my cooking way

Brilliant piece of kit. So happy with how it looks and works. Have used it a lot and the instruction manual is brilliant very easy to understand and follow. Well done KitchenAid brilliant

Fabulous microwave

Excellent brand and does not disappoint with this microwave. Take time to read the instructions as it really can do most things an oven and microwave achieve ... looks pretty damn good in the kitchen too ... very pleased with this product.

Excellent product with lots of features.

This free standing combination microwave oven is an excellent addition to my kitchen. Although the controls are quite daunting to look at it is simple to use. It has very quickly become my main cooking appliance.

It's decent

I bought this as I do a lot of cooking and baking and was really hoping this would help me. I've tried most of the functions and have been fairly impressed so far. The roasting works well; you input the type of food and weight and it calculates a cooking time for you, and so far it's been pretty accurate. I cooked a beef joint in 30 minutes, and although it's never as good as properly roasting it and was a little dryer, it certainly wasn't bad and it's great if you need a quick meal. The air fryer function is really effective and chips etc have come out crispy. The dough proving works really well and I can prove two loaves of bread at the same time and it takes just one hour. The butter softening is brilliant and does actually soften it without melting. That's all I've tried so far, but I'm pretty impressed with it. For the sake of being thorough, the only thing I've found I don't like so far is preheating the oven function seems to take a long time - probably no longer than a normal oven, but the difference is, it won't let you actually start cooking until it's preheated, and if you happen to wander off and do something else while you're waiting, and it beeps to tell you it's ready to add food and you don't open the door within a minute, it switches off and you have to start the whole preheating time again from the start, no matter how hot it already is. A little irritating, but a small issue in the grand scheme of things.

While I can relate to some of the issues other reviewers have had (it's not the quietest of machines), it does what it needs to do (and it does it well) :) Absolutely love it. I'm currently in accommodation with no oven and it's been an absolute lifesaver. Like any new appliance, it takes a bit of learning (and adjusting to), but it cooks great. I've used a couple of the special chef programs for things like frozen pizza and it's cooked perfectly. Can be a LITTLE slow to pre-heat up to maximum, but standard 180 doesn't take an age, and the chef programs generally go straight in without requiring pre-heat (e.g. frozen pizza - straight in on the crisper tray, plug in the weight, it calculates the time, you press go, flawless results). Some "back of packet" instructions need a little adjusting: I've noticed the fan/forced air/convection oven at recommended temps tends to take a tiny bit longer than generally recommended (though that could have something to do with the prep), but as with all ovens you play it by ear and leave it in for longer as needed :) Overall, I'm thrilled with it. It does what it needs to do, and then some. Perhaps it doesn't do everything exactly how people are used to, but with a little adjustment and patience it's a great tool for cooking great food (and a REALLY welcome addition to my kitchen, which only had a microwave and a hob before). Looking forward to getting really stuck in with baking etc.

Good service, competitive price

The microwave seems well built and looks good. Quite large but lots of functions. Having failed to find a suitable replacement for a built-in microwave, this offered a good alternative and was a reasonable price. Still to explore all its many functions but initial impressions are positive

All in one

Fabulous machine. Has so many options. I am still experimenting!
