I have always wanted to own a stand mixer but always wondered if the price was worth it. Well, it is. This machine has reignited my passion in baking and cooking by making everything so easy. It comes with 4 attachments, A bread hook, whisk and K mixer and all 3 are super easy to attach and remove with a similar fitting to a baynet lightbulb. But my favourite attachment is the cover that slides over the top that can be popped on even when the attachments are fitted. It comes with an easy access lid so you can add ingredients anytime you like. There are no complicated controls, the dial has different speeds including a pulse option and that along with the lift button for the head they are all immensely easy to use so much so that I have new recipes coming out my printer at a rapid rate of knots! ?? The machine is not the smallest thing, in fact I would go as far as to say it’s a fairly weighty beast and a large piece of equipment which I think is why nothing has phased it and with its large stainless feel bowl I am batch cooking like there is no tomorrow. ?? The Kenwood Chef Elite XL is easy to clean which was my only initial worry. After all we all know stainless steel can be hard to keep clean but the bowl washes well and I wiped it down while damp so no marks were left and then wiped the machine down with a damp cloth and dried with a tea towel and it looks as good as new. I think it’s a great kitchen piece.

What a wonderful machine; my Mum always swore by her Kenwood Chef in the 70’s and 80’s and I am equally Impressed with mine. Although updated you can still see it is basically the same machine and retains the classic Kenwood shape. It performs faultlessly making everything from feather light cakes to wonderful breads and I can heartily recommend It should anyone be thinking of taking the plunge and buying one.

A must have product for.any kitchen nicely made with strong parts does a perfect job for making dough and other mixing.the only downside is its not as fast as the old kenwood chefs.

This Elite food mixer is amazing in so many ways. Firstly, it’s definitely got the wow factor when it comes to its design. Whenever I buy a product, the first thing I look at are its aesthetics. Of course the features are more important but it’s got to look good if it’s going to be sitting on my kitchen worktop! I’m far from a chef but this food mixer has certainly made me feel like one. The best part is that it does all the hard work so I can’t complain. It’s so easy to use and does a great job every time. It comes with a Beater for cake mixes, a Whisk for helping mixing things like cream and eggs and a dough hook. I just love how simple it is to use. The speed control consists of 6 different speeds, ranging from slow to fast and the mixing bowl is quite large so you don’t have to worry about spillages. As a bonus, the mixer also comes with a splash guard to ensure there are no spills when running the machine at a fast speed. I always find making cakes to be very messy but this Kenwood machine makes making and baking mess-free. It has a head lift lever on the side and with a single touch you get easy access to the bowl. It’s really effortless. I love it. It’s also compatible with a bunch of optional attachments, which is really cool and is what makes this mixer worth the money. The only downside to it is that it’s quite heavy so it’s probably something you would want to give a special place in the kitchen, to save you from moving it around often. Overall, it’s a fantastic machine and I don’t think I could ever go back to food mixing by hand again.

I have always had a Kenwood. To me it really is a boon in the kitchen saving me time and energy in all baking which includes cake pastry and breadmaking. Sadly my marvellous original heavy duty Kenwood Chef broke down ...probably overwork of some 20 plus years. So my wonderful other half bought me this model for Christmas. Whilst not as physically robust...it is not so heavy to move about. This model does everything my previous one did ...with ease. Its sleeker design looks good on the counter top too and takes up less space than my previous model. I am biased as I love Kenwood machines. Not flimsy like cheaper brands but a great home help in my kitchen.

The KenwoodXLl amazing piece of kitchen equipment. Can mix a large batch all in one go. Love the fact it has a processing bowl as well., 2 machines in one. Great range of attachments to compliment it. So far all positives.
