This machine is very quiet and the steaming add-on does make the cloths smooth and nice. However there is one big downside considering the British weather - the clothes coming out from the wash are much wetter than my previous AEG washing machine (even without the steaming add-on). Hoping for some advice here - am I not using the right programme? I have been using synthetics and the maximum spin for this programme is 1200.

The washer is really good at washing and the quietest machine I've ever had. Fitting was a bit difficult as plumbed fine but the feet would not turn with the metal spanner fitting and for my standard space the washer was a tad low so cupboard door had a 3cms gap to countertop. I have bought a wrench to see if I can try again but it is frustrating! Shame as without this would be 5*s

Highly recomend this machine!!! As a domestic goods engineer i am very particular what brand machines i choose. Very rarely do these machines go wrong. The machine it self is very good it has good cycle times and love the steam cycle. I use the steam cycle if i have worn a t-shirt once or twice and isn't dirty and just a bit creased, i put on steam cycle, lower the time to 15 mins then fresh smelling and hardly any creases. I use the eco cycle for normal washes and lower the time to 1hr 25, which some people might think is long but it gives good results, there is a 20 min cycle for light loads also. It's a very quiet machine even at full spin speed and fully loaded. I also like that when the the cycle ends the door opens straight away no waiting 2 mins after the cycle finishes to open the door like other branded machines. It's a very nice looking machine one of the best looking integrated washers on the market. All in all a great washer at a good price.

The washing machine broke down and because we are shielding at the moment it presented a real problem. We had never used ao.com before but were recommended by family members and we were not disappointed. Good choice of appliances, excellent communication and outstanding customer service. Kept us informed at all stages. Delivered quickly and exactly when expected by courteous team. Very impressed. Would definitely use again.

Loving my new AEG washing machine. There is a great choice of settings and very customisable to cut down time if you need it finished fast. The steam function is great. Also it’s really quiet, so quiet I have had to check it’s actually on several times.

Like most AEG products it feels premium and well built. The product was easy to install and the connection hoses provided with the machine are of good quality. Placing the door onto the machine was a bit tricky and I was unlucky that the top bracket for screwing the door to the machines thread was dodgy. Luckily this only required me sliding the bracket out and screwing the screw through the other side to correct the thread. After this the door went on with ease and required little adjustment to line up the door correctly. As for the washing machine it is so quiet! You can barely tell its running, the only thing that gives it away is the sound of the water draining burping through the kitchen sink. The machine is full of functions dependent on the load and material. It also has a nice function to reduce the time of the cycle, giving you flexibility on the time the washing is within the machine. I have only tried the steam function once, however will be giving it a go with my shirts this weekend and expect good results. Overall a very good machine which is worth paying that little bit more for. The machine has a clean design, the display is extremely clear and overall I am very happy with this product.

Really impressed with the capabilities of this washing machine. Apart from great size and energy efficiency, the steaming function is a real bonus for keeping family’s clothing fresh and germ free.

A replacement for our ageing machine, opted for this AEG model (didn’t need the dryer feature) and we are not disappointed. Unbelievably quiet compared to our old machine and the performance is great. Very happy with this machine.
