I purchased this earlier in the year and now having had chance to use it, I find that it was a complete waste of money. I purchased it with a Rangemaster cooker which is fantastic. This extractor however isn't. It looks good but the primary function of it is to extract the smell, smoke etc. Even cooking a small piece of steak, chicken etc, the kitchen fills with smoke and I have to open the windows to help. If I had known, I would have bought a different brand without a doubt.

I bought the Rangemaster Range cooker and wanted the hood to match. Unlike the cooker, this is Italian, so I knew it wasn't going to be the last word in quality, but I was very disappointed by the poor build quality and engineering; it's the complete opposite to the cooker. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Works well and looks good. What’s not to like? Maybe the price. Why was this so much more pricey than the other options? I bought it to match our Rangemaster range, so wanted to be sure the steel matched up, but it doesn’t feel like £439 worth of kit if I’m honest. Expected better finishes on the switches for the money. Same plastic switches on my last generic integrated hood which was a quarter of the price. Lights are much more effective though, as is fan, more importantly, but noisy even in lowest setting. The range is in place now and it all matches, but if you have free choice of goods, there may be other options.

Great extractor does what it says. Slightly noisy but it doesn’t detract from any conversations we have in the kitchen.

brought this hood to go with cooker looks lovely, But expensive

It is a real quality classic product. When the external fan is on we have noticed there is no longer the smell of food all over the house. The filters are easily removed to wash whenever needed. I like not having to mess about with buying, changing filters and adding to landfill with the old filter materials. It really adds to green credentials as well as being more convenient. Not found any negatives.

Great product, was easy to fit. Looks great and does the job. Not particularly loud and good at extraction.
