    Decent and happy so far

    4/5
Great so far. Used to smaller washers so seemed a bit on the larger side, but holds loads. Good energy rating but I suppose the programmes seem to take quite a while. Looks good quality just sitting there. Seems robust. Sturdy. Yet to do a huge load of washing but no doubt that it will struggle

    Very good washing machine

    4/5
Very good product. Seems to clean well and can fit a lot of washing in it which has cut down of the number of loads we've had to do since replacing our old 6kg machine with this one. Pretty quiet throughout most of the wash cycle except for the final spin bit which is a little bit noisy. A note on the quick cycles as not sure it's clear in the info, for the quick 69 min cycle you can only put 5kg in rather than a full load, and the 20 min cycle is 3kg max (or weighs it so no cheating!). with time save function you can get a full load done in about 2 hours which is reasonable. Machine is quite big depth-wise so sticks out from under the worktop a little more than our old one, although this could be to do with how our pipes are laid out behind it and we might be able to push back a bit more but haven't done so as not to risk squishing the hoses. Not an issue at all and as it's a 10kg machine maybe to be expected so happy if that's a compromise for getting the larger capacity. Have used a few of the different wash cycles so far and the timer function to run it in the night when we've got cheaper electricity, and all have worked well and as described, and the display saying how long is left until it finishes seems to be accurate unlike our old machine. Overall seems a very good machine and very happy with it.

Never had an AEG Before- Seemed a Worthy option and Fair Price

    4/5
I had a much more expensive Samsung Washer which failed catatrophically after 5 years (Main Shaft/Drum Spider Bracket- about a £450 Repair cost), and did consider going All Out to buy a Miele this time. But (according to online research) the Lower Priced Mieles (ie the Sub £1k versions)) are made in Poland or Turkey - Same as most other Brands of Washers including some that you might assume are German Assembled! - so the Quality you get is no better despite paying more. Hence I settled on something 'Middle of the Road' and chose the AEG- given that it holds a large 10kg Load and has a nice wide door for easier loading. However - (And this applies to many Washers but I never previously noticed)- The Load Weight varies depending upon the Program- so my 10kg AEG only allows 5kg on the Quick Wash- and various other programmes have various Maximum weights. ALL manufacturers seem to be doing this lately! So dont assume that buying the highest Weight capacity works for ALL different programmes- Just a Couple of them. On day 2 - my AEG abandoned a Mixed Load 69 Min Program after about 3 minutes- telling me it was overloaded- but there was only about 3kg (Dry weight) of clothes inside. I assumed this was just a Glitche with the weight sensor as I started the Program again and it worked ok and continues to work fine after 1 week of ownership. The AEG is quiet and spins fast enough at 1400rpm. I have no idea if its belt driven or has an Electronic Inverter motor (My Samsung which failed had an Electronic Inverter with a 10 Year Guarantee- but that Was NOT the component which failed and wrote off the machine!)- so dont be bamboozled by Manufacturer claims. So Im a new AEG Customer. And was pleasantly surprised to see that it has a Sticker on it giving a 2 Year Warranty (if you register it) yet AO Webpage suggests only 1 Year- so a Small win there? Ive had , Bendix/Candy/ Bosch/ Samsung Washers and they all last about 5 years Max- so lets see how AEG do for Longevity?

    A solid washer

Despite teething issues with the AO connection (a difficult job resolved well after dialogue - fast dispatch for new team to fix). Able to wash well and fast top spin cycle is certainly quieter than previous machine.
