Overall I'm very happy with this machine which was purchased to replace our last AEG that coped with 11 years of heavy family use.
The best features in my opinion are; it's robust build, it's programmes (which aren't over complicated, yet provide plenty of flexibility and adaptability), and the 20 minute quick wash which we find is excellent.
Equally, the shallow depth of the machine is a real bonus (the dimension listed is a little misleading due to what points it's measured from, and the machine slots in further than similarly spec'd models of other makes).
You get a decent user manual (rather than having to go online), and lastly but a little less important, it looks rather better than the usual straight square look.
I'm not a fan of touch buttons, I'd rather have buttons that I actually pressed, however, most washing machines seem to have these now. Also, whereas my old AEG had a proper moving latch handle on the door, this machine has the more common "just pull" variety. Not such a quality feel. For these 2 reasons I have dropped a star from my rating.
Overall, given the choice to buy again today, I would still buy the same machine.
