First thing you notice about the machine is the style, it's very stylish well designed machine and the layout of the buttons and functions is very sleek. I LOVE the Prosteam setting. I wore a dress recently that needed a bit of a refresh but definitely wasn't dirty enough to warrant a deep wash, it was lovely and crisp after the prosteam wash and didn't take very long either, I'm definitely going to make use of this when I'm freshening uniforms for work and kitchen towels. The longer wash settings have been great on my heavier laundry like towels and bedding and I've noticed the creases (if they are there) seem to be a lot lighter now. Although I can't see this reflected in bills yet, the energy efficiency is something I'm happy with as I've often washed clothes that really just needed a bit of a refresh. Given how powerful the machine is, I'm very pleasantly surprised with how quiet it has been, particularly as I like to get washing done later in the evening and leaving it to dry overnight.

Straight off the bat the machine has every load option covered, a lot are only released once you connect to the AEG app but there is a pet wash a trainer wash most bases seem covered only issue is I’m struggling to connect to the app but I think this is down to my Broadband provider. The first few loads where holiday prep washing and with the refresh option I could put in last holidays clothes for a refresh without having to do an actual proper wash which was great. Coming back from holiday the machine is a joy due to the 10kg capacity as I was able to do all the washing in just a couple of loads and I didn’t think I needed a light in a washing machine until I had one as now no sock is left behind ?? You will need to check the dimensions for the space it is going in as the machine door is bulky and sticks out more than the dimensions listed make sure you have space to close any doors if you have them

I had very high expectations with this washing machine, as it's the flagship from AEG with a price point to match. Initial impressions of the machine was that it looked very nice visually, with a sleek modern design and a classy combination of colours. The screen and touch buttons are also clear and responsive. Initial setup was fine, this machine has 'AbsoluteCare' technology, which as a concept is to adjust the water softness with salt that you fill into the machine drawer. The idea is that this keeps clothes fresher and 'like new' for longer, with less fading and keeping shape for longer. I'm not entirely sure if this works as I've not washed brand new clothes but I can only trust that AEG is true to their word and that it can only help. The Wifi connectivity was not straightforward, as what I hadn't realised was I had been trying to connect to the appliance in an incorrect 'AEG' app that seems to allow you connect to the machine through it, but after connecting doesn't appear in the list of appliances, which was very confusing and frustrating. The actual app you should use is 'AEG Care', where the appliance does appear in the list. The best and most convenient feature of this machine is the 'AbsoluteWash', which completes a full wash in 49 minutes at 30c. The clothes come out clean, and take much less time than my previous machine at a lower temperature which is less harsh on the clothing, so this is impressive. I haven't used many of the other functions/programmes as this has been sufficient enough for my needs. The one slight disappointment is that there doesn't seem to be an 'Autodose' feature which I was expecting being the flagship model as even the 7000 range has this, and my machine also didn't come with any 'liquid detergent dispenser' part. Overall, I'm pleased with the machine due to it's quick cycle and effective cleaning but considering the price I would expect more features included from the lower ranges such as Autodose.

I am so impressed with this washing machine. It is so quiet and efficient; this was the biggest shock as some mentioned it was not as quiet as others, but for us, it sounds silent compared to our old machine. I love that it has a 10kg drum capacity, perfect for my family of four. This means you can wash more clothes in one go, saving time and energy (with it’s “A+” rating also money £££). For example, we did all our holiday washing in just two loads, saving time and effort! The design also had my wife’s approval as the design and styling is very classy for such an appliance. It looks so good, I think I will also be pressured to upgrade the tumble driver to its matching brother/sister. The Pro-sense load check and warning are useful as specific programs have different load limits. This can lead to using the wrong program (which this machine has so many) and not getting as good a wash, so this reminder has been very useful. The AbsoluteCare system is impressive and has kept my clothes looking like new. I also love that it has a steam refresh function which is perfect for freshening up clothes and saving on ironing as it reduces the creases before folding and putting away. The only thing during setup that was a bit tricky was the Wi-Fi and app setup which didn’t work as expected on my Android phone but worked without issue on my iPhone. I recommend this washing machine to anyone looking for a high-quality machine that will last for years, which is not a lie, as it is backed by an extended five-year warranty direct from the manufacturer.

First thing I notice when I unboxed it is how sleek and modern it looks, we already had comments from visitors on how aesthetically pleasing it was, looks very high-end. Build quality is excellent, interface is excellent, and runs very quietly even at high speed. We have a large family and need to do a big weekly load, the 10 kg capacity does actually take our whole weekly wash unlike some others we have had previously, the drum is very large and deep, it makes loading and unloading very easy. I have tried most of the wash cycles with the various other filters, its very initiative. It can detect the size of the load and adjust the timings which takes a lot of the guess work out of adjusting the programs. Results from all our washes so far have been excellent, we did a load of football tops after a game and they come our really well, all the mud/grass stains and streaks all came off without me needing to pre-wash them. Overall, for us as a busy family that accumulate a large amount of laundry that need quick results from a single load this is perfect.

I have now had the washer for 5 days and I have been able to put it to the test on a fair few washers now. The washer is stylish and sits well within my kitchen. I have followed some of the top tips from the manual and have been super impressed with the quality of the output especially with my white bedding. Having the ability within the detergent compartment to add salts sure has made a big difference to how soft and clean the bedding is. The next test it had was spaghetti on my youngests bibs and again I am very impressed. Having the ability to remotely choose a programme and start it at my convenience is a great feature. The washer delivers great results even on the eco setting and is amazingly quiet when in operation. My mum recently visited and pointed out straight away that she wants one. Overall so far I have been impressed with the features and feel I am getting good results.
