I had very high expectations with this washing machine, as it's the flagship from AEG with a price point to match. Initial impressions of the machine was that it looked very nice visually, with a sleek modern design and a classy combination of colours. The screen and touch buttons are also clear and responsive. Initial setup was fine, this machine has 'AbsoluteCare' technology, which as a concept is to adjust the water softness with salt that you fill into the machine drawer. The idea is that this keeps clothes fresher and 'like new' for longer, with less fading and keeping shape for longer. I'm not entirely sure if this works as I've not washed brand new clothes but I can only trust that AEG is true to their word and that it can only help. The Wifi connectivity was not straightforward, as what I hadn't realised was I had been trying to connect to the appliance in an incorrect 'AEG' app that seems to allow you connect to the machine through it, but after connecting doesn't appear in the list of appliances, which was very confusing and frustrating. The actual app you should use is 'AEG Care', where the appliance does appear in the list. The best and most convenient feature of this machine is the 'AbsoluteWash', which completes a full wash in 49 minutes at 30c. The clothes come out clean, and take much less time than my previous machine at a lower temperature which is less harsh on the clothing, so this is impressive. I haven't used many of the other functions/programmes as this has been sufficient enough for my needs. The one slight disappointment is that there doesn't seem to be an 'Autodose' feature which I was expecting being the flagship model as even the 7000 range has this, and my machine also didn't come with any 'liquid detergent dispenser' part. Overall, I'm pleased with the machine due to it's quick cycle and effective cleaning but considering the price I would expect more features included from the lower ranges such as Autodose.

First thing I notice when I unboxed it is how sleek and modern it looks, we already had comments from visitors on how aesthetically pleasing it was, looks very high-end. Build quality is excellent, interface is excellent, and runs very quietly even at high speed. We have a large family and need to do a big weekly load, the 10 kg capacity does actually take our whole weekly wash unlike some others we have had previously, the drum is very large and deep, it makes loading and unloading very easy. I have tried most of the wash cycles with the various other filters, its very initiative. It can detect the size of the load and adjust the timings which takes a lot of the guess work out of adjusting the programs. Results from all our washes so far have been excellent, we did a load of football tops after a game and they come our really well, all the mud/grass stains and streaks all came off without me needing to pre-wash them. Overall, for us as a busy family that accumulate a large amount of laundry that need quick results from a single load this is perfect.

I have now had the washer for 5 days and I have been able to put it to the test on a fair few washers now. The washer is stylish and sits well within my kitchen. I have followed some of the top tips from the manual and have been super impressed with the quality of the output especially with my white bedding. Having the ability within the detergent compartment to add salts sure has made a big difference to how soft and clean the bedding is. The next test it had was spaghetti on my youngests bibs and again I am very impressed. Having the ability to remotely choose a programme and start it at my convenience is a great feature. The washer delivers great results even on the eco setting and is amazingly quiet when in operation. My mum recently visited and pointed out straight away that she wants one. Overall so far I have been impressed with the features and feel I am getting good results.

Wow, what a machine. I did not know I could get this excited about using a washing machine. I am a tech enthusiast and I love how futuristic this is compared to my old machine. I can be lying in bed and can put the machine on before I go down in the morning. I really like the large load capacity and the light that comes on when you open the door. I also hate ironing but the pro steam function allows your clothes to come out less creased and wrinkled. I'm definitely really impressed and love the time saving functionality in a busy lifestyle my partner & I have. The product came really well packaged and the delivery guys were really friendly too. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new high spec machine

This is my first time using AEG brand and that to a washing machine. I'm genuinley impressed by its looks, built and the performance. In terms of the looks, nice simple classy white color and the controls complement very well. They are easy to use and the lay out is non cluttered with easy to read and use controls. Performance is really good. Not that noisy and functions really well. The additional capacity is truly a bonus for doing lots of washing at once. Light feature inside when the door opens is also handy. Built is strong and sturdy, Not too loud when the washing is in process and doesn't vibrate too much. All in all it's a good machine that delivers results brilliantly and would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new well made washing machine.

I remember having an AEG 20 years ago and loved it for years, but the technological improvements since then are just WOW. I've had a washer-dryer since moving as it was pre-installed but it was on its last legs and with the hike in energy prices, I never use the dryer so when I saw this new AEG, I jumped at it and I'm not disappointed. We have a broad range of washes to get through, from quick sports washes through to full bedrooms and pet hairs and it sails through the full range with ease and so nice to have a large drum that takes anything we can throw at it. We particularly like the fact that hairs seem to disappear. I'm just hoping it will last as long as the last AEG and then it will see us through for many years to come.

I needed a new washing machine and wanted a machine that offered me an energy rating A. The 900 AbsoluteCare 10KG is fast and energy-efficient and comes with so many features. My first impressions upon unboxing the machine was that it was very stylish, I liked the black and white theme and the modern looking door. The machine has been installed in my almost completed utility room! It sticks further out compared to my tumble dryer, so do thoroughly check the dimensions, like I did, if you have a tight space. The machine has many different spin cycles to choose from, I tend to use Absolute Wash, it cleans everything in 49 mins! I got the absolutely large 10kg machine, which is great for us as I tend to store up clothes until the end of the week! However, if you need to do a small batch, like I tend to do when I’m doing hand towels etc. the ProSense technology sensor adapts the cycle to the load, so very handy and makes energy sense, smaller load = less time, but still the same clean you’d expect. I’ve used the ProSteam® setting on garments that I’ve only worn to a short while; it gives the garment a little refresh and also reduces creasing. A great setting for keeping clothes looking good without having to stick it in with the main load. There is an app to control your washing with your smartphone. It says it My AEG Care app but it’s actually just called AEG. It has child lock if you’re worried about children accessing the machine. It has a Remaining Time Indicator which is great if like me you’re keen to know when your laundry will be all done! I like Audible End of Program sound to alert me, other than that it’s actually pretty quiet. I absolutely love the drum light, it should be called ‘AbsoluteLove’! No sock left in the drum! It’s a very interesting machine and what separates it from the others is it’s attention to fabric care, washing wool, delicates or sporting garments you’ll have every type of wash available for your needs. It has a 5 year warranty. I would recommend this machine absolutely!

When I purchased this washing machine I had very high expectations and I am happy to say that I was not let down! The quality is great. The feel of the swivel programme selection has a great feel to it. It looks amazing in my kitchen. The instructions in the user guide book were very clear. The only thing that in my opinion lets it down a little are the touch buttons. They work well but you have to be precise on the touch! I am not sure whether older people will be very fond of this feature. The programmes of this washing machine cover all of the aspects of different clothing and situations that I can think of. Having tried most programmes I am very happy to say it exceeded my expectations. My wife is very happy with the results as jeans, shirts and all the clothing is not wrinkled and pretty much does not require ironing. I was very impressed by the noise level when spinning, it’s so quiet! I was so used to the airplane noise that I guess is what most people think of a washing machine. Not this one! It goes through a wash and you cannot even hear it. Overall very happy with this product!! PS. I am personally very happy with the user interface, I am just not sure how older people or people with visual impairment are going to cope with the touch sensitive buttons that have no vibrating feedback to confirm the button has been pressed.
