brought this item for my daughter she absolutely loves it, it fits right in place where the old gas fire was removed

Looks really nice, very pleased. The flame effect is very good and most importantly quiet, despite being motorised the effect makes about as much noise of a mechanical timeswitch, absolutely unnoticeable hence it will be used regularly. The fan heater will only be for occasional use but noise level not too bad at all, as good as can be possibly expected and better that my old one. If replacing an old fire with similar wiring like me you may like to know the cable disconnects with a plug like on a computer so even if the other end is wired into a fused spur it can be simply disconnected for replacement, decorating etc. Please note it's not real marble, it's MDF, not a problem but would probably scratch easily.

Gives 2 levels of heat out and warm my big room quickly, looks lovely with just the light on the flame effect, didn't want anything too big and this is just right .

Such a lovely fire and surround. Literally take it out of the box plug in and it's set up. It looks lovely and cosy, not to big perfect for our front room. My little boy is delighted that santa can come now because we've a "real fire" would definitely recommend this.

Would have given 5 stars but there is a small deep scratch on it. Not worth returning though

The final piece of my living room is now in place.. the fire looks cosy with just the light on and warms quickly with the fan on.. the fans quite nosey.. so not sure if it’s faulty? Other than that I love it... thumbs up

I was looking for a smaller fireplace for a narrow room without any features (sick of looking at a blank wall lol). This is just the job, doesn't protrude into the room too much and really looks like marble, and a lovely warm looking glow and a reasonably realistic looking flickering, now that its getting colder. Only one downside, my young dog keeps pinching the pebbles.
